I am starting to attract the "get a life" commenters on LinkedIn. Must be doing something right.
(Please note, I hate LI with all my might. It's my grudge platform.)
I am in a freezer stocking fugue. Chicken is poaching for pies and other fillings. Meatballs are baking. Puff pastry is resting, and next up is a slow cooked beef ragu and some butter chicken. But first, tea.

The US government needs to know that unlike certain countries, the South African government cannot enter into a relationship with any state or entity on terms that are at odds with our constitution. One non-negotiable in our Constitution is substantive equality under the law, which includes reparatory Justice as affirmed by our Constitutional Court in Van Heerden. ⚖️🕊️🦋🇿🇦
Set my alarm to start work at 4am, because it's been that kind of week and I needed a jump start.
Of course, the Labrador then decided that 3.30am was a good time to wake me up.
Send matchsticks.
We should do this for some of our government departments...

#NOOZ SUMMARY
Last night, the president solemnly addressed you about GBV and the recent spate of killings in the country
A NOOZ summary:
- I can read, as proof, here are the names of some of the ladies who have lost their lives.
- Women are dying. Death is what women are currently experiencing.
- You guys, I told you 4 years ago to stop killing women. You haven't stopped.
- On the Ekurhuleni killings, we are doing some work. The work of investigating by involving investigators and those who investigate.
- We are going to fix this using all available resources.
- Guys, tell us when you know that someone is being femicided. You people keep quiet too much.
- We will intervene and someone must prevent these matters. That someone is called government.
- Our GBV national counsel is now available.
- Insert keywords here: GBV. Sexual assault cases. Survivors. ✨️RESOURCES✨️
- Go to the GBV desk at your local police station (I promise you they will treat you well)
- Bad things must not happen at all.
- here's what I'm gonna do
1. the Minister of Police and his band of police folk will collect and audit all stalled cases involving women and children who have been harmed or murdered. And I want this report in 90 days or else.
2. In 2 months I want an action plan on the forensics backlog situation, or else.
3. Every municipality must do a woman's safety audit. Check all the places and things that make women unsafe: Street lights, routes, tall grass, cemetries and such. We will identify and talk about when to fix these things.
Taverns... listen, I'm coming for you.
4. Beers don't hurt people. But I'm saying that people drink too much and then beat women. So, the ministers of Trade, Health, police and COGTA must look at this alcohol thing, man.
- I'm sorry about the street lights, guys.
- I promise I'm not just talking. We're going to fix this. I'm going to force everyone to report on what they're working on.
- Let's prevent violence.
- Men must stop punching, harassing, abusing, being jealous of, owning, being wealthy jerks against women.
- Guys, I'm serious. Stop killing women.
- Tell your friends to stop being jerks to women.
- Just stop it. Okay.
- Women, I'm sorry.
- Men! Stop it.
- You're embarrassing me. Why do I have to stand here and tell you all this stuff? No president should have to do this.
- Stop it right now.
Thanks.

- What boys learn about girls
-Sports organisations have a role to play
And all the other obvious things.
No straight talk.
No - I cannot have a Police Minister on garden leave, earning a moerse salary. Let me redirect those funds. – at Üsküdar, İstanbul
In today's boring news, it finally happened. I had to throw the rest of my tea away because I have drunk so much today to keep warm that I reached my limit.
