Yesterday, @extendedapp dropped a major article about their tokenomics.
Here’s what’s important to know:
30% has been allocated for the drop (300 million tokens out of a total of 1 billion)
the drop tokens are fully locked at TGE (no vesting/cliffing like with Hibachi)
there’s no TGE date yet, but it’s supposedly late November to early December
Currently, lighter is pricing the token at $0.24, which means an FDV of $240 million. If they launch with this FDV, the points will be worth approximately $1 each.
The token itself will be used within the extended ecosystem for staking, which will reduce the supply and increase the yield in volatility

The Xpoints programme has concluded.
The final conversion rate is 1 Xpoint = ~4.2857 XTEN, reflecting the 300,000,000 XTEN Community allocation distributed across 70,000,000 Xpoints.
97 community members holding the Tester role in our Discord have also received Xpoint allocations, in recognition of their testing, feedback and consistent use of the platform during Extended's earliest stages.
These allocations came from Xpoints adjusted in our final programme review.

Islands — The Passive Play
3,333 Islands. Owners earn from:
1. The shared Islet pot (Silver from bought slots split by Influence)
2. Building tax (you set 0–30% yourself)
Shipping from an island costs 8% fee + 8% chance the entire shipment is lost + 24h transit. Only worth it if your tax + risk is lower than mainland rates.
Royal Favor & $RSGP
Favor is the only way to earn $RSGP directly from gameplay.
It’s non-transferable, decays with inactivity, and requires a staked Charter.
Each epoch locked RSGP is distributed to a random subset of Favor holders (weighted by balance). The median player is unlikely to get anything.

Skilled players who can consistently farm T4–T5
