Castro had another quality showing at the Houston Preseason ID.
Balanced, chalk to chalk RH swing with a mature approach. Athletic receiver BTD with a quality arm who can really move.
High IQ backstop.๐

Quality outing from the 6โ4, 200lb RHP last night. Stuff plays in the zone with carry to FB. CB got whiffs when down. Plenty of strikes, working ahead of hitters. More in the tank down the line. A lot to like here moving forward. @ShooterHunt

Ryder Brian (โ29 | TX) RHP - 4IP, 1H, 0ER, 5K for Texas Twelve Red Sox 2028. Proj. frame at 6โ4/200 & the FB topped 86mph. Two distinctive breaking balls - SL 76mph & CB 69mph - keeping hitters off the FB & can create s&m w/ both. Tons of upside in the 2029 #WWBAWorlds @Texas_PG

Great day at the Rice University Invitational Prospect Camp! Thank you to all the coaches for a great camp.
Went 1-for-3 with a single at the plate. On the mound, faced six batters and allowed just one hit with zero runs and zero walks.

2 for 2 on the day including a LD ๐ UTM. Physical 2 way player with natural talent. Juice at the plate from the right side. Up and coming arm w/ a ton of tilt to FB. Chance for swing and miss type breaking ball. Big upside

Loose arm with good tempo to delivery. Strike thrower with all 4 pitches. SL shows late/quick break with solid potential. Quality deception to CH. can throw off speed in any count.
