The plant has seen a decline in production since the amount of galvanised steel certain countries can import without paying a levy was increased. ⬇️🎥
Thanks to Welsh Labour leader @KenSkatesMS, Newport East MP Dame @jessicamordenmp, Monmouthshire MP @CatherineFookes and Welsh Government Minister @JBryantWales for meeting with our reps at Llanwern. 🤝
The visit was an opportunity to discuss the current issues facing the steelworks, which is being impacted by cheap imports of galvanised steel. ⬇️

Community recently donated 💰£750💰to Powered by Poppy, a community organisation that helps to support families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment.
The money was donated after a member applied to our Regional Charity Fund, an initiative which was established to help enrich the local communities our members live and work in.
