Published the Conjure August Update 🗞️conjure.so/blog/2023-08-30-c…
TL;DR: a long list of updates since the last update post, across Habits, Time-Tracking, Mobile App, and more, along with some overly verbose sentences on what's up next.
A reminder we recently added the ability to duplicate Habits and copy Completion Types from other Habits, on both Web and Mobile.
Reminding you again, as we’re trying to eke out any remaining praise for shipping this feature. No need to clap.
No one:
This tweet: Yes, we do have a Habit Versioning system!
Have different phases and progression for a Habit.
Your "👟 Daily Steps" Habit (with Apple Health integration) can target 5000 daily steps for Week 1, then 6000 daily steps for Week 2, etc.
conjure.so/docs/habits/habit…
On both Web & Mobile, you can now:
- Duplicate Habits
- Copy Completion Types from other Habits
- Use Completion Type Templates
To all the power users who complained about the pain of re-creating Completion Types, those days are over (... and thank you for your patience)🕊️
James' perfectionism just bite him. Someone launched us on @ProductHunt before he could.
We'd be incredibly thankful for any support: producthunt.com/posts/conjur…
Alternatively, we let this go horribly and James learns his lesson. That could actually be the most ethical thing here.

Freshly published* to our blog: "The 3 Types of Goals in Goal Setting: A Comprehensive Guide"
*By "Freshly published" we actually mean it was published last week, but @whelton didn't share it till now.
conjure.so/blog/the-3-types-…
Just released an app update with a big speed boost when loading large amounts of Habits (e.g. >25) in the Week View, particularly on Android (on iOS it's been pretty instant to date).
@whelton will probably write a self-congratulatory thread on how he did this.
Conjure is now on @KeepProductive's most excellent Tool Finder: toolfinder.co/tools/conjure
Thank you for listing us and doing a deep dive!
Here's @whelton tracking water intake and supplements with NFC tags in Conjure with iOS Shortcuts and using to complete habits.
We're continually working on decreasing friction to tracking.... and for everyone asking recently, yes we're finally looking at adding Dark Mode.
We're now on the Awesome Quantified Self list on GitHub 🥳 github.com/woop/awesome-quan…

I tracked my distance with a Google Form and kept a running tally. I walked 1000km on this treadmill and lost 10kg over a few months.
I piped my data into @ConjureSo so I would build up Habit streaks for 5km, 10km, 15km and that kept me motivated.

If you're wondering why it took some time for full Habit management to come to the mobile app...
Also, we get it @whelton. You learned how to do animations in Final Cut Pro. Chill out.
