Eddie Murphy was 13 when his girlfriend told him he'd be famous. She could read a newspaper just by touching it.
He cared for her for years while she was bedridden. Then, while he was filming The Nutty Professor, every light on the set suddenly went out.
On the walk back to his trailer, someone stopped him with news.
In the video below, Eddie Murphy tells it himself. Wait for how he sums up the moment.
Her name was Sherry Bell. Murphy says she was his girlfriend when he was 13 or 14, and the first person who made him truly believe he'd be famous. She had a neurological condition that kept her bedridden through her 20s, and he looked after her from high school until she passed away during The Nutty Professor.
Complex reports it was the first time he had spoken about her publicly.
Una go see a raving m@d and loud buff0n but wan argue with them.
So, your history taught you that Igbos learnt and mastered their soups during the war?
They were given milk and stockfish, which was heavily salted to preserve it, to help tackle the protein malnutrition that led to kwashiorkor in children, your history missed that part?
Oh, in that history, they had time to prepare food while bombs were dropping and guns were going off?
You, Opeyemi Famakin that's 33 years old wants to teach a tribe over 1,000 years old history.
Your school needs to refund your guardians because they taught you zilch.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD, FOR THE BENEFIT OF MANKIND.
Today, 2nd November, I mark another birthday with profound gratitude to Almighty God for the gift of life, His blessings, opportunities, and privileges. I take none of them for granted.
The best birthday gift you can give me today is to support and vote for His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, CON, the presidential candidate of the NDC, in the next election.
I am deeply grateful to everyone for your prayers, kind words, and support over the past year.
May Almighty God continue to grant me the wisdom, strength, and humility to serve humanity and, in my little way, help steer our dear country in the right direction.
To the glory of God and for the benefit of mankind.
Amen.

She has finally received the political education she has been waiting for!
Watch how an NDC supporter, with style and precision, carefully breaks down Obi and the structure for an APC supporter.
Sometimes, the best lesson comes from an unexpected teacher. Sit back and enjoy!

Someone sent me this hilarious take on Mr. Peter Obi’s boat ride in Bayelsa during his campaign there.
Credit to whoever this is. You made us laugh but I understand your apprehension. Thank you for your support. Nigeria will be OK.”

Papa Ozonna doesn’t even believe all these rubbish he typed here. Tinubu got 5k votes in 2023, he would get next to nothing in 2027. Politics no be by belle infrastructure. As for now, na your selfish interest you dey pursue not an Igbo agenda. Nobody sent you to do so for us.
Yesterday at the ICC, Awka, we inaugurated the Anambra State structure for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This is more than politics. It is a battle for the soul of Nigeria, for Ndigbo, and for Anambra.
I told our people - politics is between emotion and reason. Emotion may dominate for a moment, but reason ultimately prevails. From Zik to Ekwueme to Okadigbo, our forebears always played politics at the centre. We cannot afford to be insular.
APGA and APC share the same progressive DNA - true federalism and shared prosperity. That is why we have chosen to align with the centre. We cannot build railways, gas pipelines and the infrastructure our future needs with state resources alone. We need a strong partnership at the centre.
Despite getting just over 5,000 votes here in 2023, President Tinubu has supported Anambra. Imagine what we can attract when we vote massively for him.
For me, this is about the future. After the South completes its second term, power will go North before it returns to the South again around 2039. Where will Ndigbo be? We must be at the table, not outside protesting.
History shows that a strong incumbent is never defeated by a fractured opposition. Let us unite and secure our stake in Nigeria's future.
May Anambra continue to win!

You are not inheriting ancestral land in Alaigbo.
That’s our culture, if you don’t know why ask your Umuada.
Even second sons, in most cases do not inherit these lands.
The reason is very simple, it’s collectively owned by Umunna, your father happens to be the custodian of the portion.
If a father wants to give his daughter land, he should make money, acquire lands and give to whoever he wants.
Capitalism can never destroy the sweat and blood of the ancestors.
Igbo men, please can you explain to me why you feel ashamed and start getting mad whenever we highlight that Igbo women are culturally disinherited from land and property based on their gender?
You men practice and uphold this practice till this day so why is your body always peppering you whenever we speak about it? Are you not proud of your culture? Why do implicitly want us to help you hide this practice?
Ans also, what exactly gives you the effrontery to try and claim so sort of clout for the property that Igbo women acquire for themselves?
What exactly is the problem? Come lets talk about it.

Patriarchy existed to STOP OTHER MEN.
You really think men invented patriarchy to hold YOU down? You are too weak, too fragile, too irrelevant for men to waste invention on you.
Men invented patriarchy to protect their lands, food, money, resources, women and children FROM MEN.
500 years ago women didn't know what patriarchy was because it was SURVIVAL.
No police. No 911. No guns. No cell phones. If a rival tribe wanted you, they killed your men, raped you, took your land, took your food, and married you off to their sons or kept you as maids, servants, and sex slaves. That was history.
Patriarchy said: TOUCH HER AND YOU DIE. She belongs to this man, this family, this tribe. That was not oppression. That was a DEATH THREAT to other men to keep you safe.
Pregnancy = 9 months useless. Breastfeeding mother can't run, can't fight, baby cries and brings wolves.
Who hunted? MEN.
Who fought bears? MEN.
Who fought other men? MEN.
Who built houses in snow? MEN.
Who died in wars? 90% MEN.
If men left women alone to be "independent" in 1500, you would have gone EXTINCT in one winter. No food. No fire. No protection.
You are alive today because of patriarchy.
Modern luxury - AC, Uber Eats, iPhone, birth control, police made yall RETARDED and ungrateful. You think world was always safe.
You think animals don't hunt humans for food?
Who stopped all these? Patriarchy. Men who built walls, laws, armies, civilization so you can sit on TikTok with fake eyelashes and say "patriachy oppress me."
You are not oppressed. You are PROTECTED and too dumb to know it.
Without patriarchy, you wouldn't be CEOs. You'd be extinct or a sex slave to the strongest man in your own village that’s been conquered by the enemy.
Patriarchy is not why you are suffering. Patriarchy is why you are ALIVE to complain.
I blame European imperialism

Assuming I left my car at a mechanic’s workshop for repairs and went home. My neighbour noticed I was going out without my car and asked about it. I explained that it was with the mechanic and that I planned to pick it up that evening after work. On getting to work, I saw the news that the mechanic was missing. I turned to the person beside me and said, “Lord, have mercy! I was just telling my neighbour that I would be going to pick up my car from his workshop this evening. God, please keep him safe.”
If you can read properly and think sensibly, you’ll understand that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this post. But no, hatred has blinded your judgment. Besides, she said she paid N180k for the furniture, yet many of you are claiming it was for free. Just because you dislike someone doesn’t mean you have to force everyone else to dislike that person too.

Governor Mbah was today endorsed for re-election in 2027 by a large crowd of non-indigenes resident in Enugu State. The Nwanne Di Na Peter Mbah rally rekindled Enugu’s rich history as a cosmopolitan city and a welcoming home to people of all ethnicities, regions and religions.
In the past 7 days alone, Governor Mbah has directly engaged with more than 100,000 good people and residents of our state at different events. And he is yet to formally commence his campaign!
It is becoming more and more evident that the entire Enugu State, North, East and West, are Mbah’s electoral strongholds. The APC is firmly on the ground, as demonstrated by its emphatic, more than 80% victory in the Enugu North Senatorial District by-election, and the recent local government elections, where it cleared all 17 chairmanship and 260 councillorship seats.
The rest of the parties remain in disarray, with factions at war against each other, unable to win even a single seat. And yet they boast of a magical electoral victory in 2027. Pure delusion!
One of them has even copied our popular “Party Ųmų Nwanne” song!

Chris Rock says men don’t date younger women because they’re younger, they do it because they’re CHEAPER to date💀
Chris explains that if you take a 25-year-old woman out, all she wants is a pair of shoes. And if you’re lucky, she might even model them for you naked. Everybody wins, and all it cost you was a pair of shoes.
But take a 45, 50-year-old woman out, and suddenly she’s asking you to help fix her roof. 😂 all.
Chris Rock says he’s too rich and too fit to be chasing women his own age.
He says he’s looking to date women 10–15 years younger than him, adding, “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”
He also made it clear he didn’t get rich and stay in shape just to talk about Anita Baker—he’s trying to fuck Doja Cat.
