The rent was reduced to a market rent. That's all the tribunal system does. Enough with the hysterics.
This does not meet any reasonable definition of rent control. It's a form of mediation for landlords & tenants.
Most landlords are fine with it. Just want proper resourcing.

Today inflation rose again, driven by fuel prices and rents continuing to squeeze household budgets.
The budget is a chance for Andy Burnham to put words into action and truly tackle the cost of living.
