🧠 Accordingly, our in vivo studies indicated that cells lacking PRDX6 had an elevated propensity to succumb to ferroptosis, which was mirrored by suppressed tumor growth. Furthermore, PRDX6 knockout mice exhibited a notably reduced GPX4 expression in the brain.
It was an honor to speak today at @Tsinghua_Uni and meet with so many extraordinary scientists and students! Walking on the campus I was amazed by its beauty and the inscription capturing the spirit of this vibrant place: „actions speak louder than words!“
One of things I cherish the most about being a scientist is the privilege to visit the most wonderful countries … and if lucky … get to see real pandas 🎋🎍 🐼
