After noticing the smell of smoke, he found a house fire and sprang into action. While his co-worker called 911, Tareq helped bring the homeowner to safety. A neighbor called him a hero. We agree.
For Bretton, restoring power is personal. When family and friends are without service, they call him. Even when he’s not the one making repairs, he reassures them help is on the way. And when he does restore their power, there’s no better feeling than helping his hometown.
Tareq started his shift looking for signs of gas leaks. Instead, he saved a life.
After smelling something burning and spotting smoke coming from a home, he told his co-worker to call 911, rushed inside and carried homeowner to safety.
