Yeah he’s my neighbor in a Civ game right now.
His army dwarfs mine for the past 2000 years. Whenever he decides it’s time I’m not going to have a good time 😅
Even as Genghis Khan approached death, his ambitions for conquest remained relentless. According to historical accounts, one of his final orders was to complete the destruction of the Western Xia kingdom, a civilization that had resisted Mongol domination.
In 1227, the same year Genghis Khan died, Mongol forces captured the Western Xia capital, leaving widespread devastation in their wake. Cities were destroyed, countless people were killed or displaced, and the kingdom’s political and cultural foundations collapsed.
Although the Western Xia civilization was not completely erased, its independent existence came to an end, and much of its population was eventually absorbed into other communities. Genghis Khan did not live to see the full aftermath of the conquest, but the destruction unleashed by his campaign left a lasting mark on history.
Luckily @YoitsWinnie is to my south and he’s been buddy buddy with Mongolia since life began. I know… right!?…. I know! He will come to help me… right!?!?
