“No you’re not… They love you. I’m sure Lucinda trusts that we’ll find her. I just can’t have you hurting yourself more, your circuits can’t take much right strain right now… You need rest!” She would watch as she ripped the pads from her chest. “Luci…”

“Almost ready… Just have to make sure everything is in order.” She would check her rifle case, making sure her gun and its attachments were all accounted for. Adding a side arm to her waist for extra measure. “Hopefully these actually come in handy.”

“The security room, and don’t even think about it!” She’d would point her finger at Lucille’s face. “You’re staying here and resting. I can set up a station right here for you to communicate from, got it?!”

“I agree, we’ll come back to the topic when I’m all better too… Right now we have a pressing matter. Lucinda was taken. We have to get her back… I’ve heard talk of a meeting of sorts to address the next step.”

“Yeah… Hold on though… You’re you and you remember what we’re talking about. Wasn’t that supposed to not be the case?” She’d look the other woman up and down. “Regardless… You’re welcome, Darling. Even if it hurts me to know I have to spend so long without you…”

“Wow you’re pretty…” She would clear her throat, hands still holding the now older Lucille’s. “If we did that… You’d never end up here. You’d never get to have this life, you’d have to give it all up. Our kids- Your kids… They wouldn’t be your children…”

“You shouldn’t have to worry about that… It’s for me to deal with, I can do it. I have to do it… For you! I love you, and I need you safe always. I clearly missed a step in the past though… Seeing as we’re in this mess.”

“Well clearly I come back… It just takes awhile. I don’t know why I stay away, but I can tell you it’s for you… It’s all for you.”

“No no… You need to know it. When we get back I’m going to kill three men… Some staff at the clock tower, they wanted to hurt you. I’m pretty sure it ties in with all of this… When I do, I’m going to have to disappear for awhile…”

“I’m glad to hear that… Though I don’t think it will be, Love. When we go back, something’s going to happen… That’s why you don’t have any pictures of me, you move on…”

“You are strong way stronger than I am. Look at you, you’re hanging in like a champ. I’ve had a lot of help to be able to be standing like I am.”

[ @cherimonil ] “It took me awhile, but I’m finally here…” She would walk into the medbay and move over towards the bed. Looking down at Lucille. “Sorry I took so long.”
