The big story today were the massive tech drops of $GOOG $AMZN and $INTC after earnings. It put an enormous spotlight on AI spending vs returns. The extreme capex numbers are devastating companies stock price right now. I don’t remember too many days with -10+% after hours. As alarming as that is, these stocks now sit at or below their prices from a year ago. I personally believe we have 1-3 more big AI stock runs before this has essential “run its course”. These companies obviously have room to grow and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Remember people, especially with Google and Amazon, as long as you’re looking at this with a long term horizon, what would be the reason to not buy these stocks today or tomorrow? Take the deals while they’re staring you in the face. Long term these are all huge winners.

Jeffery Simmons getting traded from the Titans to the Bears ruined my day. Packers have a bottom 5 O-line and this man will wreck our guards. On a completely separate note, the Bears still suck.

How do you know when you’re saving too much? I believe there is a point to where you can negatively affect family relationships, decisions and views because of your behavior. What’s your goal? What’s your why?

Why does everyone who doesn’t own Bitcoin want it to fail? I don’t want the price of precious metals to tank. I don’t want the stock market to go down. Is it just because it’s “magic internet money” and people don’t understand it? Why do people act this way?

Transparency check here. Been a pretty tough day for my Robinhood account which holds quite a bit of $ASST $MSTR and $GOOG It is what it is. I’m acquiring more when I can of each of these. They remain bull run plays in ASST and MSTR and a long term hold in Google. $MSTR earning call at 4pm. I’m confident all 3 of these will rebound sharply.

$CROX being up 25% today is subjectively hilarious to me

I’m dressing up as Fear of Missing Out “FOMO” for Halloween in an attempt to scare the market into a ripping rally.

Midterms are close people! Don’t panic and add to your positions where possible.

“On this Day” #3 On October 29th, 1997, just two days after the Asian market decline which had triggered a massive sell off in the US stock market, the markets reopened. Upon market open, a historic rally took place. Investors all came gushing into the market at once, raising the Dow by 337 points which was the largest single day gain at the time. A record 1 billion shares were traded on the NYSE for the very first time. Trading volume was so much so that it caused massive glitches and delays in brokerage ordering systems that many retail investors were shut out or delayed from trades.

Picking up shares of companies like $GOOG when there’s a 10% drop is quite literally free money. I bought 2 shares after hours, but will be buying another 2 in the next 8 hours. What’s the fear with Google? Short term volatility?
