I feel like I read a rumor that the majority of the tracks of this album was supposed to be on Meelah’s solo album but Motown scrapped that and they ended up using them for the album instead. Regardless such a great album.

by the time 702’s third album “star” was released they had already broken up once & was on the road to disbanding again. lack of promotion killed this album quickly, but some of the production, and kameelah’s ability to find the pocket is pure ear candy. a groove heavy album. faves: trouble, no way, feelings, stringing me along, I’m wit it, better day (ghetto girl), betcha she, reality, star
