Last Saturday at VERB Festival, CLNZ CEO Sam Irvine presented the CLNZ | NZSA Writers' Award to the 2024 recipient Mark Derby. The $25,000 grant is invaluable to Mark, enabling him to dedicate six months to his project 'Outlaw Prophet – Hakaraia Mahika and the Tauranga Wars.'
