Iโm old enough to remember when the President of the United States didnโt allow radicalized terrorist regimes to dictate what we were going to do, or when we were going to do it.

To most, it may look like an old rock...
But itโs not.
In fact, itโs so much more...Itโs a very special, and a timeless memorial.
It sits in a glass-top display case, on a shelf, under a neatly folded (but now heavily faded) American flag.
Strange, but time seems to move so much faster ever since that day.
Maybe itโs just me.
Maybe Iโm just getting older. Yet, that day is the one day (during my lifetime) that stands out when I remember everything changing...forever...
This rarely sees the light of day. Yet, when it does, it serves as a permanent reminder, and as a small, hallowed memorial to those who were lost that day...and to all who were lost serving in the days that followed...
Not as many people seem to care as much these days about this small piece of history...but to me, and to those who do, it will always represent the day that time seemed to stand still...forever...
#NeverForget ๐บ๐ธ
Each and every day that I am blessed to wake up, I am so proud to be an American.
But it is on this day each year that my American pride runs just a little bit stronger than on every other day. We made a promise "Never To Forget," and we all have an obligation to do just that.
Left, Right, Red, Blue, Elephants, Donkeys, R's, D's, and everything in between...at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter...so long as we all know and understand that when we face adversity as a nation, we remember why our Founding Fathers intentionally decided to include the word "UNITED" in our name.
It's so important that we remember that.
And, as we look back, may we also remember that American spirit that made this great nation what it is today, and what gives us the assurance that our best days are still to come.

God Bless America.
May the convictions of our ancestors outweigh the lack thereof in our contemporariesโฆ
My faith and family are my foundation, and I am so thankful for the nation we celebrate today. I am not a wealthy man, but I am quite rich in the things that truly matter...
Keep life simple: Faith, Family, Friends, and Freedom. Donโt complicate your life with things that get in the way of any of those.
May God continue to bless America, our people, and our freedoms.
May He protect us, and those who stand in harm's way.
May He forgive us for breaking our part of the covenant that was set forth by our brave founders and forefathers.
May He remind us of why we should be thankful for this great nation...and teach us to never take for granted what this day is truly all about.
Itโs always a great day to celebrate America! Happy 4th of July! ๐บ๐ธ

I donโt care who you voted for, what โsideโ youโre on, or what party is leading our great nationโฆnone of that matters in light of this infallible truthโฆ
There are consequences for any nation that wavers in its support of Israel or capitulates to her enemies in a way that make her vulnerable.
This is not political gaslighting or self-fulfilling fear-mongering.
It is truth.
(Genesis 12:3, Numbers 24:9)
May God continue to guide and bless both America and Israel, and may the ties that bind us grow stronger each day.

A story for D-Day...
As a young man, Joe had never strayed far from his hometown of Greenville, SC. Sure, Joe had seen the bright lights of the city, traveled to the coast, and he had even gazed out across the vast horizon of the Atlantic...but he never dreamed he would see much more than that. And why would he? After all, he had everything that he needed right there in the palm of his hand.
When his country called, Joe answered.
There would be Basic Training and his assignment to the Army's 4th Infantry Division. There were long days and short nights as he and the rest of the boys prepared for war against the greatest villains the world had ever known. And there were the letters, saturated with homesickness, to his mother Cornelia who waited with anticipation each afternoon when the mail was delivered to that small mill house at 7 Grace Avenue. And as she prayed for Joe during those short days and long nights, she held his letters in the palm of her hand.
It was June 6th, 1944. Joe prayed with his eyes wide open as the landing craft rocked up and down, a roller coaster upon the waves. He knew he was aboard a horseless chariot that was helplessly leading he and the rest of the boys straight to the doorstep of death. "So, this is what the other side of the Atlantic looks like," he whispered to himself, as he tried to think of mother, and of happier times at home on Grace Avenue.
Joe was just one hero that day. There were so many. He was certainly not alone.
The Army would later recognize Joe's actions from D-Day with a Bronze Star. Two days later (D-Day +2), the Army would recognize his wounds with a Purple Heart. But it was never about the medals, or about being a hero to Joe, as he clutched a fistful of Utah Beach and let it slip through the palm of his hand.
Joe would return home to Greenville some time later. He would get married and have a family. Cornelia would pass and he would be there to hold his mother's hand as she prayed her last prayer.
Joe would age, probably much quicker than most, certainly much quicker than he should. His son would grow up and have a son of his own, and Joe would become the Grandfather who would tell stories of a boy, and a beach, and an adventure to the other side of the Atlantic...all while holding his Grandson's hand.
Joe died in 1984 when the Grandson was only 8 years old. Tears streamed down the boy's face during the funeral when that American flag was folded with military precision...and placed into the palms of his small, tear-soaked hands.
As he grew up, the Grandson became a teacher, of History no less. Once a year he would stop to tell the story of his Grandpa Joe and all the other brave men who helped save the world on that June day...and he would pass around the medals, and the dog tag, and a picture of his hero, Grandpa Joe...and he taught the students that the freedoms they enjoyed, and all that they had, were paid for by what they held...right there in the palm of their hands.

The second is a Star of DavidโฆTo symbolize my unwavering love, prayers, and support for Israel and her people.
This isnโt political. Iโve always held this conviction.
