Sad, but true. A well-penned, thoughtful piece by @Johnnydontlike
There are no good options in this race.  But if you think @KarenBassLA is guaranteed to do less damage than Nithya Raman, you’re kidding yourself.     No one deserves your vote.  Leave it blank.  Because a blank ballot at a time like this is a vote for change

🚨 STOP THE FRAUD. NOT THE JOURNALIST. Well, well, well, Sacramento. 👀 When independent journalists expose potential fraud and questionable government spending, the response should be INVESTIGATE THE MONEY — NOT TARGET THE PEOPLE ASKING QUESTIONS. My First 100 Days Plan lays out exactly how I propose to change financial oversight in California: 🔎 PREVENT IT: Verify payments before taxpayer dollars leave the Treasury. 🚩 DETECT IT: Apply enhanced scrutiny to high-risk spending and suspicious transactions. 🤖 EXPOSE IT: Establish an AI-powered Radical Transparency War Room to continuously monitor transactions and flag irregularities for investigators. 💰 RECOVER IT: Pursue improper payments and refer substantiated wrongdoing to the appropriate authorities. Here’s a novel concept, Sacramento: Follow the money instead of going after the messenger. Every dollar. Every transaction. Every day. 📖 READ MY FIRST 100 DAYS PLAN: herbmorgan.com/post/herb-mor…

Why are all of the Democrats hiding from the press?! If they are proud of their record they should be excited to share it with every journalist in the state! Democrats aren’t working for your vote and they aren’t earning it. Vote different. Vote Republican!
I want to be clear: I would have preferred not to make this video. I am sharing it to explain my upcoming coverage of the race for California state controller, including my efforts to interview incumbent Malia Cohen (D-CA) and why my candidate interview coverage of this office will feature only her challenger, Herb Morgan (R-CA). I would have preferred to produce a piece giving both candidates equal time. Those are journalistic values that guide me every day. After weeks of outreach and back-and-forth with Cohen’s team, a Zoom interview was scheduled, then abruptly canceled by her team. I was told she had no availability to reschedule before the election. Her team said I could submit written questions for Cohen to answer in writing. I respectfully declined because I wanted voters to hear directly from her on camera, with the opportunity for follow-up questions. I told her team multiple times I wanted to ensure voters heard her side, her priorities, and answer why she deserves a second term in office. I made every effort to make that happen. Fairness is always my priority. My goal was to give both candidates the same opportunity to discuss their records, answer meaningful and tough questions, and speak directly to voters. I regret that I could not make that happen, but voters deserve transparency about the process.

Get your friends back! Nearly 2 million people have left California in the past few years—fleeing to places like Austin and Nashville. Democrat policies drove them out. But we can make California THE place for young people again. Ballots are out today. JUST TRY IT.

The MAGA Mall President Ronald Solomon donates 250 “Make California Golden Again" caps to the California Republican Party Convention Delegation at the Republican National Convention in Dallas, Texas. Notable members of the California Delegation were Congressman Tom McClintock, former Congresswoman and National Committeewoman Connie Conway, National Committeeman Shawn Steele, State Senator Tony Strickland, Assemblywoman Letticia Caillo and California Republican Party Chairwoman Corrin Rankin. The three-day event started at the Marriot Downtown with an evening welcome reception for the California delegation at the hotel. The next day, the delegation met for a buffet breakfast and a symposium in the ballroom headed by Chairwoman Corrin Rankin. The delegation then boarded buses for the Convention at the American Airlines Center. Speeches were given by 35 notable Republicans, including RNC Chairman Joe Gruters, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Senator Tim Scott, Congressmen Stever Scalise and Byron Donalds. President Trump gave the funniest keynote speech ever. The president touted his accomplishments, including tax cuts for lower- and middle-income Americans, that every Democrat in Congress voted against. The California Delegation then went to world famous Gilley’s for a Boots, Bulls & Beer After Party, for fun, food, drinks and dancing, and pictures on prize bull “Buckeroo”. On the final day, the delegation met for a buffet breakfast at the Marriott and went on a trip to the JFK Assassination Museum at Dealey Plaza. Then delegation then returned to the hotel. Every delegate was given a “Make California Golden Again” cap donated by Ronald Solomon as they boarded buses for the Convention at the American Airlines Center. Speeches were given by 32 notable Republicans, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, Senator Ted Cruz, Health & Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Texas Governor Gregg Abbott, Donald Trump Jr, Vice President J.D. Vance and of course, President Trump, who was introduced by Lee Greenwood who sang “God Bless the USA” as the President took to the stage. Ted Cruz pointed out that the Democrat Party had turned into the party of communism and radical Islam. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gave a scathing indictment of the modern Democrat Party, and JD Vance gave the best speech of his political career. The convention concluded with tenor Christopher Macchio singing “America the Beautiful”, “Ava Maria” and “Nessun Dorma” as thousands of red, white, blue and gold balloons dropped from the ceiling and filled the American Airlines Center. The California Delegation then went to The Tower Club for a High-Rise Honky-Tonk After Party. Everyone had a great time. Every election cycle, The MAGA Mall executives Ronald Solomon and Tricia Weldon donate over 100,000 caps to MAGA candidates and conservative causes all across America.
