I've watched players I helped develop reach 2700+ Elo & I've also spent years having my coaching discredited sometimes by people I've personally helped but that's never stopped me from sharing information, creating resources, or helping the next generation surpass me.

There is a gatekept top pro player Brawlhalla balance Discord server, and I was banned for talking about Lance too much, apparently, LMFAOO. The pro balance server being gatekept by a small group of people and banning opinions they disagree with is a cancer to the game. (1/4)
