Listen, many of us today have seen these rankings make it rounds around Twitter While I can spend a bunch of time highlighting the issues that I have with this full FBS Rankings… I want to highlight a bigger issue that I see in Sports Media today, and that’s why posts like this are so popular. Many of us complain that the biggest figures in our sport put out content that’s more centered around clickbait instead of being centered around being actual quality work So while many people voiced their displeasure today…. When you’re dealing with media entities or personalities that are primarily centered around getting clicks… that’s exactly what they want! So what’s the best mechanism that we have against this kind of content? Well we need to do 3 things as a collective group: 1) Ignore it 2) Do what I’m doing and screenshot the post vs quoting/reacting directly to the post so that they can’t earn the engagement 3) Support Creators that are putting in the work to put quality content out, regardless of size!
