In 2026, being gay is considerably more socially acceptable than being in love with Elizabeth Holmes.
If I were gay, I'd lean all the way in.

shakespeare in his brilliant writing era trying to create a creepy vibe: the horses were eating each other ://
radiohead hamlet is instead a dark dance-driven show that presents a speedrun version of hamlet that’s an hour forty mins and yet feels like the longest hamlet ive ever endured. all the heart ripped out of it
then again i may just not be the right audience for this bc even though i love hamlet down the thing id most want to see from a radiohead musical version is like. “o what a rogue and peasant slave am i. im a creeeeep im a weirdoooo”
radiohead hamlet was a total flop for me but its best innovation is an ophelia suicide scene where she tries to do to be or not to be and keeps getting stuck on and repeating different phrases of it again and again
the players don’t have any lines in this so during the play-within-the-play claudius sees an abstract interpretive dance and knows he’s been exposed.
having horrible anxiety so im fully sitting in the audience of oh mary on halloween crying to the pre-show playlist. hello

when great gatsby became public domain everyone was like “ok who’s gonna write the explicitly gay retelling” foolishly no one considered “police procedural and nick is a woman”
