Big news for Arizona manufacturing! 🚨 @Honeywell_Aero is investing $500 million in a new advanced manufacturing facility in Tempe, bringing 600 new jobs and expanding production for commercial aviation and defense. A major investment from a company that's long called Arizona home. Congrats to the Honeywell team! 12news.com/article/money/bus…

Replying to @brahmresnik
Fair question, Brahm. Local context matters, (I think in some municipalities that 2 percent goes up a few points) and conservation should be part of every community's plan. Scottsdale is a good example: 23 north Scottsdale courses run on reclaimed water through a system the courses paid for themselves. I have been a vocal critic of the City of Scottsdale for many things but they have a good model for this- but Brahm – golf is not the issue. The real issue is an AG operating well outside her constitutional lane, and ignoring private property rights to score political points instead of doing the job of the office. It's so obvious that even Politico's interviewer, who isn't from Arizona, pressed her on it.

A helpful reminder from @12News & ASU's Kyl Center for Water Policy. 👇 Conservation matters. So does understanding where our water goes & what solutions actually move the needle. Closing golf courses & the economic benefit they provide, do not.
So I read verbatim of her 25-minute interview. Kris Mayes said 'golf courses' once. Idea that a drought-plagued state 'might have too many' isn't exactly controversial. But nice try. This was most interesting comment:

Wow. Thank you, @CourtCoolidge … Golf is more than a game in Arizona, it’s a major economic driver! Generating billions of $$$ in economic activity, supporting jobs, and driving tourism, the golf industry plays a vital role in Arizona’s economy and local communities.

YIKES: @KrisMayes pledges to get rid of golf courses if re-elected: "We have way, way too much grass in Arizona. We probably frankly — and I'm sure the golf industry is not going to like this when I say this — we probably have too many golf courses in Arizona right now." #AZAG

Big news from @LockheedMartin: a preliminary agreement with the Pentagon to produce at least 850 F-35 jets over the next decade. That's a big deal for Arizona, where the program already supports nearly 14,000 jobs, 41 supplier locations and $1.8B in economic impact. Long-term production plans are good news for the manufacturers and suppliers counting on that business. A major milestone for Lockheed and Arizona's manufacturing community! money.usnews.com/investing/n…

Arizona has no shortage of opportunities. Keeping them coming takes the right policies and infrastructure. @dbseiden joined @BuildWillmeng’s Jimmy Lindblom and fellow panelists today to talk water, energy, air quality regulation, permitting, and what’s at stake for Arizona’s commercial real estate future. Thanks to James Murphy and the Willmeng team for hosting!

Arizona is attracting major investments in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure. Keeping that momentum requires a permitting process that's predictable and efficient. We're joining @ShopFloorNAM and business groups across the country in urging the Senate to advance bipartisan reforms that help get projects built and create jobs while maintaining strong environmental protections. nam.org/nam-leads-100-manufa…

If America’s next 250 years will be shaped by communities willing to solve big problems and try new things, Phoenix has a pretty strong case to make. What a great event with @WSJ & @InsidePMI focused on a question Arizona knows well: how do we turn innovation into real opportunity: better jobs, stronger communities and long-term economic growth?

.@SandraWatsonAZ put Arizona’s competitive advantage in simple terms today: we plan ahead. On water, workforce and infrastructure, Arizona’s ability to think long-term gives businesses the confidence to invest, grow & create jobs here.

Great discussion with Mayor @KateGallego. Arizona’s semiconductor strategy was never just about landing one big project. It was about diversifying our economy, building our advanced manufacturing ecosystem & getting ahead of where the economy is going next. Phoenix has embraced innovation & more importantly made sure it translates into opportunity for the people who live here

One of my favorite events of the year because every time you look around, there’s another reminder of just how much incredible stuff is made right here in Arizona. And this year’s winner is literally hot - as in 2000 degrees. 🔥 Congrats Valley Forge & Bolt! #AZMOY26 @gcu
Meet the 2026 Hottest Thing Made in Arizona! 🔥 Huge congrats to Valley Forge & Bolt, and thanks to @gcu for sponsoring the competition. Great story from @abc15 and @NickCiletti on the Phoenix-made Wireless SPC4 system and the people behind it. Take a look. 🎥👇

Infrastructure is economic development. Grateful for leaders like @MichaelCarbone who understand that attracting major manufacturing investment also means making sure communities have the roads, water and infrastructure needed to support it. Well deserved recognition. #AZMOY26
Manufacturing investment brings opportunities, but communities need the infrastructure to support it. Rep. @MichaelCarbone helped address that this session with legislation to strengthen the program that funds roads, water systems and other infrastructure for major manufacturing projects. Glad to recognize him as #AZMOY26 Champion of the Year.

Congratulations to Valley Forge & Bolt, our #AZMOY26 Small Manufacturer of the Year! What started in a small Phoenix warehouse more than 50 years ago now serves industries around the world. Their technology helps keep equipment running safely and catch problems before they become costly shutdowns. A well-deserved honor for the team.

🤝 @ShopFloorNAM has been a strong partner to Arizona manufacturers on permitting reform, tax policy and trade. @dbseiden sits down with @erinstreeterNAM to talk about what Arizona is getting right, what Washington needs to get done and how we keep manufacturing investment moving. From getting projects built to strengthening domestic supply chains, plenty to discuss at #AZMOY26.

Founded in Tucson in 1922 with only a few cows, a truck & a dream to one of the West’s largest food companies: that’s an Arizona manufacturing story to be proud of. Congratulations to Shamrock Foods Company, our 2026 Large Manufacturer of the Year! 🏆 #AZMOY2026
From a small Tucson dairy to a major family-owned food company, Shamrock Foods has been part of Arizona’s story for more than a century. Today, we’re recognizing them as our Large Manufacturer of the Year. Congratulations to everyone carrying that legacy forward! #AZMOY26
