Andy Green says that Jared Young has full motion of his arms and legs and is able to walk after suffering a season-ending concussion last night

Since we were off last night, I didn’t see the Jared Young incident until much later. Truly terrifying. So relieved to hear the CT scan was negative and that he had feeling in his extremities. Echoing what others have said, Jared is truly one of the great people in this game. He’s worked his absolute tail off to get to this point. Through a career where he could’ve given up on himself more than once, he never did. It’s awful that this is likely how his breakout season ends. Here’s to praying he’s back next year better than ever. The easiest guy in the world to root for.

Andy Green on Sean Manaea's comments on the ovations for Pete Alonso "Since the trade deadline, the fanbase has embraced this group and have done so at a time where we didn't take them on a journey to a place they wanted to go when the season started. We're gonna end up with like 3 of the top 6 Rookie of the Year candidates in the National League. The fans embraced that group, which is great to see. But, it did feel a little bit like a flip to see them embrace Pete at the level that they chosen to, which is totally understandable as well. But unique is a fair descriptor of the last couple of days.
