Ok, Mr Snyder, I’ve reviewed your labs and everything looks great, except for one thing
“All right, what is the one thing?”
Well, looks like your LDL cholesterol is just a tad bit high and so I’m going to recommend you go on a statin
“A statin? How long am I supposed to take that for”
You’ll need to be on it for the rest of your life
“The rest of my life, I’m only 38 and you just said everything looks great and that I’m healthy”
Yes, that’s true but I’d rather be safe than sorry
“What about side effects, I’ve heard that people can have muscle issues and some get dementia?”
Most side effects are very mild and very rare
“Didn’t a brand new huge study just show that people on statins have more than double the risk of becoming demented”
Well, yes I saw that study, and most of the people prescribed statins were more sick than the ones that weren’t
“Didn’t the authors correct for those confounders and identify a potential problem with CoQ10 depletion”
Well, also yes but they say that maybe there was some “residual confounding” that they didn’t account for
“Is residual confounding likely to be enough to more than double the hazard ratio for dementia?”
I see your point but we have several large randomized controlled trials on statins that don’t show increased rates of dementia
“Weren’t those studies paid for by the manufacturers of statins and didn’t they make like a billion dollars off these drugs”
More like a trillion dollars, but we have to trust these studies as it is the best data we have, also there are a couple that were funded publicly as well
“You mean via the NIH? Doesn’t the NIH also receive lots of money from drug companies through public/private entities and also pay researchers royalties for intellectual property”
Well, yes I suppose that is true as well, but we have regulatory agencies that protect us from corrupts science
“You mean the FDA? Isn’t true that the FDA receives the majority of its funding for drug approvals from the pharmaceutical industry itself? Kind of like the fox guarding the hen house. I think they call that corporate capture or something like that.”
Ok yes, I can see where the opportunity to fudge numbers a bit could be lucrative, but we have excellent peer review by the top medical journals in the world and they certainly wouldn’t put up with shady science
“Are you talking like the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, The British Medical Journal?”
Yes, those are the one’s, very prestigious
“Didn’t editors of all those journals basically admit that they could no longer trust the science in the journals and that they’d basically just became marketing propaganda for the pharmaceutical companies?”
Well, yes I do remember hearing something about that at one point, but it was probably just sour grapes or something like that. Besides our medical organizations like the American Heart Association put out guidelines for this stuff
“Don’t organizations like the AHA also take millions of dollars from these drug companies? Is it possible that that money could influence their guidelines?”
Well yes that’s also true, but that’s just the way it is.
“Isn’t it also true that doctors are often given large bonuses if a certain percentage of their patients are on statins?”
Well yes Medicare and other commercial entities will often pay decent sized bonuses for prescribing patterns that match the guidelines
“Aren’t Medicare policies subject to legislative input and is it true that Pharma heavily lobbies congress”
Well , yes Pharma is by far the biggest federal lobbying entity in the US and there are something like 3 lobbyist for every single member of congress, but I’m sure it has very little effect on policy
“Doc you seem a little gullible if you ask me!”
Hey, I have $400,000 in loans I gotta pay back, cut me some slack
“Doc, I’m gonna hold of on the statins for now, maybe I’ll wait a bit until they clean up all the corruption first”
I get it, I don’t blame you!
In the hours after the midterms, it is worth saying this plainly: Elon Musk is about to be hit with a fresh wave of concentrated hostility, and the rest of us who value what he is actually building should not pretend otherwise.
A man who was once treated as a progressive technological hero with electric cars, reusable rockets, and an open internet - has become, in the eyes of much of the left, an apostate. He bought Twitter and refused to keep the old speech rules. He ran DOGE and cut programs the left considered sacred. He warned, repeatedly and without euphemism, that demographic and institutional trends could lock in one party control. He put his own money behind the other side. For that, the hatred is now open and concentrated.
Starship is still the only credible path to making life multiplanetary. Starlink still connects people the old infrastructure never reached. Tesla still forced the entire auto industry to confront electric vehicles. Neuralink and xAI are still early attempts at expanding what a human mind and an artificial one can do together. The people who want to punish the man for his politics have not offered a substitute for the work. They have only offered the punishment.
Standing by him requires noticing the pattern. The same voices that once celebrated the green-car pioneer now treat the multiplanetary goal as a distraction or a vanity. The same institutions that spent years demanding more regulation of speech on private platforms now treat an open platform as the greater danger. The consistency is not in the principles; it is in the target. When a single person both builds the hardware of the future and refuses to stay inside the approved narrative, the response is not engagement. It is a campaign to make the cost of that refusal higher than the benefit of continuing.
The simple fact is that no one else is currently doing the combination of things Elon Musk is doing at the same scale, and probably never will. When the response is punishment instead of alternatives, the work that actually expands the frontier slows or stops.
I support Elon because the work matters more than the noise, and he is one of the few people who seems to genuinely want humanity to have a future. ♥️

🚨 JUST IN: Polish MEP Dominik Tarczyński STARES into the camera to drop this message for any American considering voting Democrat in 2026
"Socialism is DEATH, slavery and lack of any freedoms. PLEASE don't do it — don't go through 70 years of occupation like Poland did."
"You know what socialism is? Everyone is equal...Equally HUNGRY. And that's what we went through. Please, don't do it. Do not vote socialist for your next generations for your children and grandchildren!"
@D_Tarczynski 💯💯
Poles LIVED THIS: ration cards, empty shelves, lack of food and martial law by the commies
Now Democrats are running open socialists like Mamdani and ABDUL EL SAYED
Listen to the people who actually survived it! 🇺🇸🇵🇱
Everyone who fled communism does NOT want to go back. Americans must vote Republican.

BREAKING 🚨: The hospital found out Gail Seiler was unvaccinated for COVID. Then they tried to MURDER her.
They STARVED her for 12 days, denied her water for 7 days, and told her husband she was going to die.
When her husband came to take her home, the hospital made her a PRISONER.
They called the police, and a 6-hour standoff followed.
When the hospital finally let them go, it wasn’t through the main entrance. It was through the freight elevator used to carry bodies to the morgue.
On the way out, a nurse told her husband, Brad, “Mark my words, she’ll be dead tonight, or before you even get home.”
Gail survived. Not because of a miracle, but because a caring physician stepped in and guided her home treatment: nebulized budesonide and ivermectin.
BRAD SEILER: “Over the next 30 days, she was weaned completely off of oxygen. Within 60 days, she had recovered sufficiently to return to work. Today, Gail is alive, healthy, active, and
enjoying life with our grandchildren and children.”
Gail’s story is horrendous, but it’s not uncommon. Hospitals were rewarded with perverse bonuses during COVID, and the more interventions they ran, the more they made.
As Attorney @RenzTom previously testified: “We have incentivized the MURDER of patients rather than incentivize TREATMENT.”
“When you go to the hospital, you get tested. They get paid more. When you get admitted for COVID, they get paid more. When they put you on remdesivir, they get paid more. When you get ventilated, they get paid more. When you die, they get paid more. This is perverse.”

Polish MEP Dominik Tarczyński is explaining what is happening right now at Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal, calling it nothing less than a COUP D’ÉTAT!
“In Poland, we have a liberal-left government led by Donald Tusk, who is the Prime Minister. What is happening right now with the Constitutional Tribunal is that they want to take it over and fill it with their own people.
Why? Because they want to get rid of the Polish currency, bring us into the eurozone, and eliminate our secure borders. They are being pushed by the Germans, who want to spread the burden of illegal migration and send migrants to Poland.
First of all, the Polish złoty is our constitutionally protected currency. They have to change the Constitution to replace it, and without the Constitutional Tribunal, they cannot do that.
So, number one, they want to get rid of our currency and force us to adopt the euro and join the eurozone. Then they want to take our gold reserves, the largest in the European Union, to Frankfurt, to the European Central Bank, which is a German-based institution.
They also want to open our borders. And they want to make sure that when they lose the next elections, which are coming next year, the Constitutional Tribunal will be unable to do anything to stop their actions or reverse what they have done.
There are many more reasons, but I want you to understand one thing: they are under German influence. They are globalists, and we are fighting not just for Poland, but for Europe.
Be like Poland. Be strong. Our nation is strong, and we are going to win this fight!”

This will go down as a defining moment in Vice President Vance’s career.
“You guys are meant to report the truth. How have you let yourself become agents of propaganda?”
From the White House podium, Vance OBLITERATED a fake news narrative about the ICE shooting in Minneapolis, in real time, right to the face of the reporter.
REPORTER: “You said earlier there’s a left-wing network to attack, dox, assault, and make it impossible for ICE officers to do their job. So if everything you say is true, how does being part of that network justify being shot?”
VANCE: “Well, being part of the network doesn’t justify being shot, but ramming an ICE officer with your car—that justifies being shot. Not a good thing, by the way, but when you force somebody to engage in self-defense, it’s almost a preposterous question.”
“I’m not saying funding some of this stuff justifies capital punishment. Nobody would suggest that. The reason this woman is dead is because she tried to ram somebody with her car, and that guy acted in self-defense. That is why she lost her life. And that is the tragedy.”
“Now, there may be other violations of law and other penalties associated with those violations. If you are funding violence against our law enforcement officers…you should sure as hell earn a few years in prison.”
“What is…sorry, guys, what’s going on here?!”
“You guys are meant to report the truth. How have you let yourself become agents of propaganda, of a radical fringe that’s making it harder for us to enforce our laws?”
“You just asked me a question that presumed this woman died while engaging in legitimate protest. She tried to run somebody over with her car, and the guy defended himself!”
“Next question!”

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

When pro-life activists exposed abortion clinics selling baby parts in California, Democrats filed felonies against the activists.
When Nick Shirley exposed immigrant fraud in California, Democrats passed an anti-Nick Shirley law.
When James O’Keefe exposed Minnesota election fraud, Democrats filed felony charges against him.
Democrats have become an organized crime cartel masquerading as a political party.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

No Kings explained for people who think they're fighting fascism.
You're standing in a crowd on Saturday. You look around and think yeah. No Kings. This is what democracy looks like.
Bro.
You're holding a sign made by a communist billionaire who lives in Shanghai.
You live in a constitutional republic.
Elections. Term limits. A free press that spent four years calling the president a fascist without one journalist being arrested.
The modern left's definition of fascism:
You love your country? Fascist.
You want to enforce the border? Racist.
You think parents should raise their kids? Bigot.
You want to know who's voting in your elections? Jim Crow.
Being patriotic is fascism to the modern left.
But every country has borders and enforces them. 176 countries require ID to vote. That's the definition of a country.
But the Democratic establishment told you otherwise. And you believed them.
Congress has a 15% approval rating. 80% of Americans disapprove. 97% of incumbents got re-elected.
Chuck Schumer. 46 years. Longer than Stalin.
Steny Hoyer. 45 years. Longer than Mao.
Mitch McConnell. 42 years. 5x more than Napoleon.
Nancy Pelosi. 39 years. Longer than Henry VIII.
Maxine Waters. 35 years. Longer than Mussolini.
Bernie Sanders. 35 years. Triple Hitler's entire reign.
Trump. 5 years and 3 months. Won the popular vote and the electoral vote.
But Trump is the king. Okay buddy.
You don't hate kings. You hate kings that aren't yours.
And they have you in the streets carrying their water.
The Democratic Party installed a president without letting you vote. Biden quit on a Sunday. By Tuesday your queen was crowned.
No primary. No debate. No ballot. First time since 1968.
Three days before your march every Senate Democrat voted against photo ID to vote.
During COVID you carried a vaccine card everywhere like a hall pass from the government just to eat at a restaurant.
But getting a birth certificate or waiting two hours at the DMV to prove you're a citizen before you vote? That's oppression.
The Democratic Party is pro illegal immigration.
Counts non-citizens in the Census. Census determines congressional seats. More non-citizens means more seats means more power. No voter ID means no way to check.
That's how you keep power without wearing a crown.
Biden built a censorship machine.
Pressured Facebook to suppress true information and admitted it in writing. Censored scientists. Censored doctors. Censored JOKES. The Biden White House told Facebook to remove "humor and satire."
They literally went after people for making fun of them. UK does it better tho...
Everything they censored turned out to be right. They just outsourced the silencing to Silicon Valley.
And it doesn't stop at speech.
The extreme left justifies taking children from families.
Six thousand schools rewrite children's identities without telling parents. And the State has the right to intervene.
The Hitler Youth did this. Mao's Red Guards did this. The Soviets built statues of a child who reported his own father.
Same playbook.
During Covid, your bakery got shut down. Church closed. You couldn't hold your dying mother's hand at the hospital.
But thousands packed together during BLM to burn Minneapolis and THAT was essential civic engagement. Obviously.
$2 billion in damage. 25 dead. 2,000 cops injured. 20 states burning. VP Kamala promoted a bail fund for the rioters. No investigation. No hearings.
January 6. One building. Few hours. 1,000 prosecuted. Two years of televised hearings.
Kings decide which violence counts. The left decided.
Charlie Kirk spent his life walking onto campuses asking for honest debate. He was assassinated.
CSIS terrorism database. 2025 is the first year in 30 years that left-wing attacks outnumber right-wing. Yet no one brings this up.
75% of liberal students say preventing a speaker from talking is justified. 27% say violence is acceptable.
Liberals who went to Trump rallies: "I never felt unsafe." "The experience changed me." They say.
Conservatives who show up on liberal campuses get screamed at, blocked, and assassinated.
One side talks. The other side screams.
The Party for Socialism and Liberation marched
Their stated purpose in their own words: "Revolution." Not reform. But Marxism.
500 groups. $3 billion in revenue. Pre-printed signs.
The signs were ready before you were even angry.
AND its all coming again .... if the left gain any power.

Adam Carolla says it took 10 DAYS before he heard about the concealed carry dad who ran into his daughters’ elementary school and took down the shooter.
He thought about it, and he knows exactly why it didn’t get more airtime.
“IT F*CKS UP EVERY THEME THEY HAVE ABOUT GUN OWNERSHIP.”
CAROLLA: “That was the first time I’ve ever seen a picture of this guy [Kaylub Giamanco], heard him talk.”
“He says, ‘I didn’t save enough kids, and I’m sorry to the parents of the kids who I couldn’t save.’ And now he can’t sleep at night because he can still hear the screams of the children begging for their lives.”
This man should be a household name. A national hero.
But as Carolla explains, his story wrecks the picture of gun owners the media wants in your head.
“The theme of the dad who wanted to protect his kids ... and put an end to this school shooter is NOT a theme they like.”
“MSNBC, CNN, LA Times, THEY HATE THIS STORY.”
Daniel Penny, meanwhile?
CAROLLA: “That guy is everywhere because they love the theme of a blonde-haired guy choking out a black guy.”
When a story doesn’t fit the narrative, you never hear about it. When it does, it’s all you hear about.

At Sen. Ron Johnson's recent roundtable on COVID hospital protocols, Americans told the truth that the media, Big Pharma, and the hospital bureaucracies spent three years trying to bury.
One man broke down as he told what they did to his wife.
They gave her a death sentence. Doctors told him she would be dead in 24 hours. So they stopped treating her. They wrote her off. They wouldn't let her family in to see her — wouldn't let a husband see his wife, wouldn't let children see their mother. Isolation was the protocol.
Then he walked into that ICU to save her.
"I entered the ICU to bring my wife home. Gail was conscious, mentally coherent, repeatedly stated that she wanted to leave with me."
She wanted to live. She wanted to leave with her husband.
What did the hospital do? They called the cops. Administrators called law enforcement on a husband trying to rescue his own wife. What should have been a discharge became a six-hour standoff.
"I wouldn't abandon her."
At one point, this American woman, trapped in a hospital bed, had to ask a police sergeant: "Am I a patient, or am I a prisoner?"
A patient or a prisoner. In an American hospital.
As they finally let him take her, a nurse looked at him and said, "Mark my words she'll be dead tonight."
He brought her home anyway.
And she lived. She recovered. She is alive today because one man refused to bow to the so-called experts, refused to leave his wife to die alone on a COVID ward.
That is not health care. That was a death protocol. Hospitals weren't treating patients — they were running a clinic of death, following NIH orders, cashing the federal bonus checks for every patient they put on Remdesivir and a ventilator.
This is the crime they don't want you to talk about. And it's why we will never stop demanding accountability.

Recently I was talking with a friend about universal geniuses. And something struck me.
Florence, 1480–1510. Same city, same moment: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Botticelli, Pico della Mirandola. Raphael right behind them. They walked the same streets.
Europe, 1600–1700. Galileo, Kepler, Descartes, Pascal, Huygens, Newton, Leibniz. In two generations, we got calculus, modern mechanics, probability theory, and the scientific method.
Athens, 470–320 BC. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Sophocles, Phidias, Thucydides. One century, one city, and the foundations of Western thought were laid.
Europe, 1890–1930. Poincaré, Hilbert, Einstein, Marie Curie, Tesla, Planck, Bohr, then von Neumann.
Always the same pattern. In every great era, the West had 15 to 20 minds of this caliber alive at the same time. People who could touch everything and push the frontier of several fields at once.
Today we have one. Just one. Elon Musk.
And Elon is an anomaly.
Not in the sense that he shouldn't exist. In the sense that the world we built is designed so that someone like him never emerges. Statistically, he shouldn't be here.
Because what forged Elon was an absolutely insane move.
October 2002. eBay buys PayPal. Elon walks away with roughly $180M. Anyone else buys an island and never works another day.
He puts $100M into SpaceX, $70M into Tesla, $10M into SolarCity. Almost everything. On rockets and electric cars, two industries no sane person wanted to touch.
2006–2008. The first three Falcon 1 launches fail. Tesla is burning cash, the financial crisis hits, investors run. He has enough left for one last launch. Just one. He borrows money from friends to pay his rent.
September 28, 2008. The fourth launch reaches orbit.
December 23, 2008. NASA awards SpaceX a $1.6B contract.
December 24, 2008. The Tesla round closes at the last possible hour. A few more days and everything collapses.
That's what a genius is. Not just IQ. The ability to put everything on the table when the entire world tells you it's impossible, and be right.
Now the real question: why do we only have one?
Because a genius needs three things. The freedom to try. The right to get massively rich if it works. The right to fail without being destroyed.
And that's exactly what the collectivist left and the technocrats have torn down across the West for the past 50 years.
They turned success into suspicion. Making a lot of money became a moral failing. Taking risks became irresponsible. Rising above the crowd became an insult to equality.
They stacked up norms, committees, permits, regulations written in Brussels by people who have never built anything in their lives. In Europe, Elon would never have been allowed to blow up three rockets. He'd have been stopped at the first form.
They want to tax capital before it even exists, cap fortunes, redistribute what others created by risking everything.
They replaced excellence with conformity. Our schools produce docile people, not dangerous ones. And a genius, by definition, is someone who disrupts. Their entire system is built to neutralize the people who disrupt.
The result: where we should have 15 to 20 universal geniuses alive at the same time, we have one.
Just one.
And you want to put him in prison.
You summon him before judges, you raid his offices, you insult him morning, noon and night, you dream of breaking up his companies. The man who lands rockets vertically and wants to take humanity to Mars.
You're disgusting.
History won't remember your names. It remembers Galileo, not the inquisitors who tried to silence him.

It’s time to conduct a full audit of the Fed so we know where our money is spent.
