@AntWilson - things escalated quickly. Then the curve went vertical.
<1M to 10M+ developers in 2 years.
The memes were the GTM. Shipping with taste was the distribution. The community compounded and then the agents copied.
Excited to get into the @supabase journey, and what the next million AI products need from the layer underneath.
Oct 1st in SF. Unprompted.

@supabase rocketed from 1M developers to 10M+ in two years, and 55% of the latest @ycombinator batch builds on it...
Every AI product starts the same way: someone picks a backend at 11pm and never thinks about it again. More often than not, that backend is Supabase. Back when @craft_ventures first invested in Supabase, it was a Postgres platform developers loved and few others had heard of; then the AI wave hit.
Vibe coding didn't just need a code editor – it needed a database, auth, and storage that could survive whatever a non-developer would do to it. Lovable, Bolt, v0, Figma Make and the teams shipping with Claude Code and Cursor all landed in the same place. The question on every founder's lips used to be "which backend do we pick?" Today it's "what do we build now that everyone is a developer?"
Excited to announce Ant's Unprompted keynote: "The next million AI products."
@antwilson (Co-Founder & CTO, @Supabase) will be in conversation with @Michael_Robinsn (Partner & Head of Investment Team, @craft_ventures) for our opening keynote.
Supabase's rise is product-led growth in its purest form. No big launch, no enterprise sales push, just developers choosing it and telling each other – so who better to talk about the journey than Mike, who co-led Craft's Series C in 2024 and has backed every round and sits on the Board. Mike watched Supabase go from a beloved dev tool to the default backend for the AI era – and wrote the case for why.

@Replit rocketed from $2.8M two years ago to targeting $1B+ ARR by the end of this year...
Two years ago, shipping software meant you had engineers. Today it means you had an idea before lunch. I remember when @craft_ventures invested in Replit. Back then was the best place to learn to code; then the Replit Agent launched.
Vibe coding isn’t just buzzy Silicon Valley jargon – it’s the way legit apps are built. The question on every founder’s lips used to be "how do we hire more engineers?" Today it’s "what do we build now that anyone can ship?"
Excited to announce Amjad’s Unprompted keynote: “Apps where everyone can ship.”
@amasad (Co-founder & CEO, Replit) will be in conversation with @DavidSacks for our closing keynote. Replit’s rapid adoption can be attributed to product-led growth – so who better to talk about the journey than David, who pioneered the concept of bottom-up virality as the driver for adoption and growth. David carried what he learned at PayPal into Yammer which inspired the PLG motion we know today – and that helped Replit rocket to more than 50 million users worldwide.
