Broncos star CB Patrick Surtain II is believed to have avoided a long-term injury Sunday, per sources.
Surtain will undergo further testing for the non-contact injury to his ankle. But his Achilles is intact and all indications are that he avoided any worst-case scenario.

Wtf is he all fired up about?
Dude was hurt for the majority of their games and oh by the way, never learned the playbook! Said it felt "like Spanish"
He also said transitioning to Sean Payton's old-school, demanding practice schedule was tough compared to Kyle Shanahan's lighter approach in San Francisco.
What a bum.
#49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said that LB DRE GREENLAW is extra motivated and fired up for this game Vs Broncos
Denver signed him last year to a multi year deal, but released him as a cap casualty prior to this season.
Go get em @DreGreenlaw #FTTB
