Barack Obama stood up earlier this month and accused the Trump administration of targeting Ilhan Omar just because she criticizes the president. He called her a "law-abiding elected official." Now we learn the investigation into her marriage didn't start with Trump at all. According to the New York Times, it started under Obama's own FBI and Department of Homeland Security back in the summer of 2016. The Times reports officials found "some evidence" that Omar's 2009 marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi was fraudulent, including evidence suggesting the two were brother and sister. They reportedly didn't charge her because the five-year statute of limitations had already run out. Fox News Digital confirmed the probe began under Obama and reports a Biden-appointed U.S. Attorney in Minnesota shut it down in 2021. Now a federal court document refers to her as "Ilhan Omar Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Omar," investigators searched her Washington home on October 12 and took her passport, phone and computer, and the new investigation reaches into how she became a citizen. Omar calls it a baseless, disgusting conspiracy theory and a political vendetta. There are no charges yet. But this was never just a right wing rumor. Obama's own administration looked at it and reportedly found something there. Either Obama didn't know what his own FBI was doing, or he went on X and lectured the country anyway. Somebody has been stealing Americans' identities to create fake college students and walk off with our student aid money, and today the Justice Department finally pulled back the curtain. They're calling it Operation Ghostbusters. Officials say this ghost student scheme has been running since 2021 and could add up to several hundred million dollars. More than 40 cases are open across 26 FBI field offices, five people have been indicted so far, and investigators have seized more than $750,000 in laundered crypto overseas. Here's the part that should make every taxpayer angry. Officials say the money was tied to networks in Kenya and moved through money mules here in the U.S. and a front company, a safari business in Nairobi. Federal aid that's supposed to help real students pay for school was allegedly funneled overseas while the people whose names were stolen got left holding the bag. An Education Department official said the Biden administration turned off nearly every fraud detection measure, and if that's true, this didn't just slip through the cracks. The door was left wide open. I'm glad to see a Justice Department that's actually chasing the money instead of looking the other way. Hospitals in most states still force or heavily pressure healthcare workers to take the flu shot every year. This has to stop. A Cleveland Clinic study of 53,000 of their own employees just showed the opposite of what the mandates claim: the 80% who got the shot were more likely to catch the flu than the 20% who didn’t (about 27% higher risk that season). “Get the shot or else” is not protection. It’s BS.

🚨 If a vaccine injures your child, there's no jury. Your case goes to a special federal "vaccine court." The defendant? The government. Not the company. Who's protecting your child? And they only give you 3 years to file your case!

This makes me so angry! So in WA State our taxes (via Medicaid), will pay for minors to be mutilated and sterilized. Kids can't get a tattoo under 18, but they can be ruined for life at taxpayers expense. 🙄 This is wrong on so many levels!

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has fired Army Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, the general in charge of strategy, plans and policy for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and if what a Pentagon official is saying holds up, it was the right call. According to that official, Sylvia failed three polygraph tests tied to leaks of classified information to the media about the war with Iran and the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the case has been sent to the Justice Department. Sylvia has retired after 32 years of service, and I haven't seen any public response from him. The timing is what gets me. U.S. officials have reportedly told countries in the Middle East to be ready for possible renewed strikes on Iran after Tuesday's election, and a third aircraft carrier is on its way to the region. The man in that job helps write the plans our troops would carry out. If classified details from that office were being handed to reporters, that puts American lives at risk. Critics are already calling this another purge of generals. I'll take a Secretary who goes after leakers over one who looks the other way. A Kenyan man who came here on a tourist visa in February 2019 and never went home was arrested by ICE Seattle on Monday at a traffic stop. When agents pulled him over, Stanley Robert Kungu Muthee was wearing a Washington Department of Children, Youth and Families jacket and carrying a DCYF ID. This man has been overstaying his visa for more than seven years, and since August 2024 he has been working for the state agency responsible for vulnerable children. Washington state said that he showed a work permit with no expiration date and nobody told them anything changed. Unacceptable! A work permit is not legal status. A tourist visa that ran out years ago obviously is NOT legal status. Who exactly is responsible for this blunder? If DCYF is supposed to be protecting children, it should know exactly who it's hiring and whether they're even supposed to be in this country. This is what years of open borders and sanctuary politics have done. People who overstay don't just disappear into the shadows. They end up on government payrolls paid for by taxpayers, in jobs that are supposed to carry the highest level of trust.
