I just finished The Matter Is Life by J. California Cooper, and it was amazing. 📚❤️ I’ve already ordered two more books from that author, and now I’m rereading The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. A teacher gave me this book when I was in grammar school, I read it again years later, and now I’m experiencing it all over again. It’s amazing how the same words can find you differently depending on where you are in life. Maybe that’s what I love most about reading…you grow, you change, and somehow the books grow with you. I’m so excited for this reading journey and everything I’m discovering along the way. 📖✨

Hello, October… 🍂
You arrived smelling like pumpkin spice and apple crisp, smooth as peach cobbler, carrying the quiet promise of everything I thought I had lost. Four leaves have fallen to the ground, and somehow, I understand them now. They didn’t fall because they were broken, they fell because it was time to let go. Maybe that’s what this season is teaching me: some things have to leave so something new can finally find its way in. The air feels different, the trees are changing, the days are getting softer, and somewhere between the falling leaves and the scent of pumpkins in the wind, I can feel myself changing too. I am no longer begging yesterday to stay. I am making room for tomorrow.
So hello, October… 🍁
Bring me every new beginning meant for me. Bring peace where there was confusion, laughter where there were tears, and blessings I never knew to ask for. Let what is leaving, leave gracefully, and let what is coming find me ready. I’ve survived every season that tried to bury me, and now I’m standing here, beautifully becoming. This time, I’m not afraid of what falls, because I finally understand that sometimes the falling is how we make room to bloom.
