Santiago Rodriguez with the finish and @ColumbusCrew pull one back in DC 👊
MATCH DAY!
It’s an afternoon special at home against an old rival. Last home game of the regular season!
2pm ET vs DC United
After starting out in MLS being dominated by DC in the playoffs at the turn of the last century, the recent form of the Crew has proven to flip the script.
Since May 8th, 2021 (coincidentally the last match in Crew history before the carabiner logo was unveiled) the Crew have had a stretch of 7W-3D-2L.
DC has only won 2 matches since August - including a 2-1 victory over the Crew at Audi Field on September 9th.
That game featured two goals from Tai Baribo who is listed as “questionable” on the availability report for DC.
Santi Rodriguez scored his second goal for the Crew in that match less than a week after joining the club.
All-time results have this rivalry nearly dead even.
With Ohio State and CBJ playing evening away games today, what else are you going to do with your afternoon??
Join the Crew in our chase for the playoffs! 🖤💛

Blind box takes on a new meaning 🤪
What’s in the box? It’s our schedule! Now introducing the roadmap for the 2027 Sprint Season, pres. by @AEPnews ✨
In 1986 in Concord Township Ohio, in the shadow of Cleveland and Lake Erie, a baby was born. Made from the same steel forging stock that built Northeast Ohio, Evan Bush came into existence.
After 17 seasons as a professional, Evan Bush is hanging up the gloves. And the story ends right where it should: at home, in Ohio.
He grew up playing soccer as he said, "like any kid in Northeast Ohio." He was an All-Ohio basketball player at Lake Catholic before goalkeeping won out, and Akron was the only Division I program that took notice. He made them right: MAC leader in wins and shutouts, and a Zips team ranked No. 1 in the country.
Then came the long road. Trials that went nowhere. A season with the Cleveland City Stars. Baltimore. Then Montreal, where he started as the third-string keeper and spent a decade turning himself into a club legend: 176 MLS appearances, three Canadian Championships, and the 2014–15 CONCACAF Champions League Golden Glove.
In December 2020, the Crew brought him home.
He gave us a clean sheet against Cruz Azul to win the 2021 Campeones Cup. He came back from two broken arms in a single season. He won an MLS Cup in 2023 and a Leagues Cup in 2024 in Black & Gold. And through it all he was the standard in the goalkeeper room: the veteran who pushed his teammates, mentored everyone, and made each player better.
He could have finished his career anywhere. He chose here. As he put it last year: "I wouldn't be doing this elsewhere at this point in my career."
Ohio kid. Akron product. Montreal legend. Columbus champion. Mentor. A Pro's pro.
Enjoy retirement. You'll always have a home in Columbus. 🖤💛

Columbus Crew, FC Cincinnati, and Orlando are all playing their next two matches against teams whose fates of in or out of the playoffs have been decided. This makes predicting the outcomes challenging. But, at the moment we control our own destiny. If we win both games, other results don’t matter.
Wait, does Dallas have a “build a bonfire” chant or is that away Crew fans? #FanCulture

Match day!
If you do not subscribe to local sports journalist @MichaelArace1 and The Disrespected, you should consider it. He understands #FanCulture. Here is his breakdown from today’s column on Dallas:
—
On one hand, the Crew haven't won in Dallas (or Frisco) since Sept. 29, 2023. On the other hand, they haven't lost down there, either (four draws).
Courtois described the FCs by noting, "Their intensity. They're really powerful. Powerful back five. And they have pace up top, and they have talent, especially with Musa, and they're in top form."
Dallas striker Peter Musa (22 goals) is chasing Lionel Messi (25) for the Golden Boot.
Across MLS, many eyes will be trained on Frisco. This Dallas-Columbus game has what you might call "implications."

We could have a Columbus Crew 2 vs LAFC 2 MLS Next Pro Championship in Columbus (mimicking the 2023 MLS Cup final).
LAFC 2 takes down Austin FC II in a massive upset in Texas 👀
With this victory, if LAFC wins the conference final next weekend *and* Columbus takes down Chattanooga in Tennessee, Crew 2 will *host* the 2026 MLS Next Pro championship in Columbus!
