Well Said!
I read something today that made me think about the ease to which we fall into self-righteous thinking.
It inspired me to write this poem.
“Expunged”
I love to tell the wondrous tale
Of how God's grace removed the veil,
Opened my eyes so I could see
And set this captive sinner free.
Free from the fear that God is cruel
And that I'm nothing but a fool,
For trusting and believing this
That Christ is Lord and all is gift.
The gift that will not be a prize
For how well I can reach the skies,
His faith came to my heart for free
And turned my eyes away from me.
Away from me and to the cross
Where love was given at a cost,
It doesn't matter what I do
Or if my life looks right to you.
Yes, this is where the devil roars
He hates when I don't keep the score,
His goal is always only this
That I would love self-righteousness.
He comes with subtle words of praise
And tells me I should be amazed,
At just how good I have become
And this is where his battle's won.
His schemes have never changed a bit
They come straight from the fiery pit,
And tell me I don't need God's grace
To walk the walk or win the race.
But there's a way to quell his shout
Yes, this will shut the devil's mouth,
Trusting in Jesus' finished work
Will silence Satan's every word.
The angel who was cast aside
Whose every dart is but a lie,
His ammunition is expunged
By grace through faith in Christ the Son.

In 2017, Los Angeles County ALONE was shown to have over 1 million illegitimate entries on the voter rolls — dead, moved, non-citizen, ineligible. You can stop gaslighting the public, and start admitting that California has a grossly flawed system of election administration.
Let’s be clear about the facts: California has more than 23 million registered voters — the 28 cases of alleged voter fraud announced this morning represent .0001% of that total.
Isolated cases of voter fraud occur in red and blue states alike. As I’ve said repeatedly, any substantiated allegation of voter fraud should be taken seriously and, when supported by the facts and law, prosecuted.
We have safeguards in place to protect election integrity, and they’re working.
