Is this supposed to be surprising? To me it is basically like this.
Notable @washingtonpost revelation: CIA assessments find Iran has months of food and fuel stockpiled to withstand renewed US attacks.
This casts further doubt on the notion that another "short" military campaign could force Iran's surrender or collapse.

Trump won the '16 primary in part through promising a Muslim ban. AES's identity nearly lost him the Democratic primary. There are many independents who do not want to vote for a guy with Muslim Brotherhood associations.
It may sound crude, but "He's Muslim" is a better message than other GOP pitches.
