Late Gmuse 💀
Busy day at work but I’ll make up for it by allowing you to see my clergy cloak @argonauts9999 collection 🤌
The more time I spend looking at @lphaCentauriKid and @argonauts9999, the more convinced I am that people are underestimating what has been created here.
Argonauts isn’t interesting because it has a roadmap, promised utility or an elaborate token economy.
It’s interesting because it doesn’t need any of them.
This is a collection of 9,999 works from an artist with a distinctive visual language, genuine provenance and a career that existed long before this mint. ACK has built an entire universe around the Muse: skulls, pianos, flowers, colour, mortality, longing and the tension between beauty and decay.
Argonauts takes that language and makes it collective.
Each skeleton feels like part of the same mythology, but each also has enough character to become an identity. The cloaks, palettes, bones and beautifully strange details give collectors room to follow taste rather than simply consult a rarity table.
That matters.
The strongest PFP collections were never sustained by rarity alone. They gave people an instantly recognisable visual identity and enough internal variety to make choosing one personal. Argonauts already has both.
But the real bull case goes deeper.
The art lives fully on-chain on Ethereum. Not merely the ownership record—the work itself. The traits may be fixed, but the renderer can evolve, allowing ACK to continue making artistic interventions after mint. Burned Argonauts becoming permanently animated works on fire was a brilliant early example: an irreversible blockchain event became part of the artwork’s story.
That is not “utility” bolted onto a JPEG. It is an artist using the medium itself.
There is a physical dimension too. Each mint included the option to claim a 4×4-inch ChromaSculpt print, connecting the on-chain object to ACK’s physical practice. Digital permanence, a tactile counterpart and an artist whose work already crosses comfortably between crypto-native culture and established institutions is a compelling combination.
Then there is the launch itself.
No corporate language. No imaginary metaverse. No CEO hired to manufacture engagement. No promise that holders would receive access, yield or endless future deliverables.
Just art.
That apparent simplicity is actually a strength. It removes the usual execution risk and puts attention where it belongs: on the artist, the work and the culture that forms around it.
And culture is forming quickly.
Collectors are building cloak sets, hunting particular palettes, pairing traits, choosing crews and turning the mythology of serving the Muse into a shared language. The community isn’t waiting for a Discord announcement to tell it what to do. It is playing with the work, creating lore and developing its own collecting rituals organically.
That is how durable art communities begin.
The other reason I’m bullish is @lphaCentauriKid himself.
ACK is not an anonymous team attempting to reverse-engineer a successful PFP. He is a multidisciplinary artist who has spent years developing a recognisable body of work across animation, music, glitch art, prints, sculpture and deeply personal storytelling. His work has appeared through Christie’s and Sotheby’s, but he still understands the strange, participatory language of crypto culture from the inside.
That combination is rare.
Argonauts sits at the intersection of several things that matter:
• a proven artist with a real body of work
• instantly identifiable imagery
• fully on-chain permanence
• art capable of responding to on-chain events
• a physical print tied to each original mint
• strong PFP legibility
• rich collecting possibilities
• no dependence on speculative “utility”
• an emerging culture that feels native rather than manufactured
None of this guarantees a particular floor price, and it shouldn’t. Art is not a spreadsheet and markets remain markets.
But when I ask which recent collection has the ingredients to remain culturally relevant after the initial trading frenzy disappears, Argonauts is very high on the list.
The best way to understand it is not as another 10k project competing for attention.
It is a major artist opening his world to thousands of people without diluting the ideas that made that world compelling in the first place.
9,999 skeletons heard the siren song of the Muse.
I suspect the voyage is only just beginning. 💀⛵️
Guess I’m officially a clergy cloak @argonauts9999 maxi

1/ UNDERSTANDING ARGONAUTS BY A.C.K.
ack built argonauts on one of the oldest stories ever told: jason and the golden fleece.
and the deeper you look, the more of the myth you find woven into these 9,999 skeletons.
buckle up for some surprises...
quick thread 🧵
Argonauts are the first of its kind blockchain art that cannot exist in any other medium. I believe that Ack has created a new category of art with Argonauts, ephemeral, ever evolving, beautiful, intricate and deep. Designed to evolve for thousands of years, and to take advantage of future technological advances. It exists fully on chain, and yet has a complexity and depth unmatched by any other concept that I am aware of.
Even after three weeks since mint we still only understand about 30% of what is built in to Argonauts. burn mechanism, art evolves over time, special celebrations, air drops to upcoming unannounced collections, and many other amazing details and features yet to be discovered. In many ways Argonauts is like a high end watch collection for the NFT space but combined with beautiful art.
Alpha Centauri Kid is a true genius. What he has done with color theory combined with the technical achievement of creating his own coding tools to create the real life color effects he wanted could only be done by a handful of people on the planet. Very few artists have the coding genius to do what he has done and very few coders could ever hope to match the artistry and mastery of colors that he exhibits.
It's my firm belief that in the years to come the art community will come to regard Argonauts as the first of their kind of a new kind of generative/evolving art. And that the value of Argonauts will be appreciated for generations to come. If you haven't discovered it, I highly recommend you watch the intro video on the Argonauts site and come to the Argonauts discord where lots of collectors will be happy to answer any questions. I don't want to get into subjective list building of which on-chain projects are top 3 or whatever. But I will just say that I believe Argonauts will stand the test of time and be considered a top project for decades to come.
Nothing hits harder then scooping a nice @argonauts9999 cloak on a dirty wETH bid to wake up and realize that I basically got it for current floor price after this pump 🤌

So, what is a Sprouted launch?
Pretty simple idea, it just took us a while to get the plumbing right.
A token launches, people trade it, and part of that activity starts building a real perpetual position underneath it instead of everything just disappearing into fees and liquidity.
Scherwode handles the token and launch side. The perpetual side is powered by @artificeSystems and settled on Hyperliquid (yes we will add support for other Perp dexs).
A launch picks a market and direction — long ETH, short BTC, whatever.
As the token trades, the Sprout grows. Once enough capital is there, it starts building the underlying position. If that position realizes profit, those profits can be used to buy back and burn the token.
So basically: token trades → Sprout grows → perp position trades → profits buy back the token
And this is just one launch type.
We’ll keep adding weirder stuff too — on-chain baskets, cross-chain baskets, and other ways of deciding what actually sits underneath a token.
Perps are just next.
