>Still expecting 2GW of grid power in 2028-2029, while the 2030 target for grid dropped to 1.1GW from 2.1GW (Barber Lake 500mw and Milsing 500MW out) as was hinted at the Batch 0 release.
>Total pipeline is up to 5.9GW from 4.4GW last quarter, but that is all the 2.5GW of potential on-site gen. Grid pipeline alone fell ~0.9GW to 3.4GW, and the 70MW Horizon acquisition only offsets a sliver of that.
>Odessa came out of the 2027 capacity count (still mining BTC), but management says HPC talks are ongoing. They described it as capital-light, with no Cipher equity and a return for unlocking tenant interest using the long lead equipment and PPA term.
>On-site gen: new lateral pipelines could support up to 2.5GW across multiple sites (not named). ~1GW is targeted for 2027-2028 with active talks on about 1GW of leases, and first power is possible as early as late 2027. An IPP would contract the equipment and power directly with the tenant.
>“Recycle” in the flywheel means releasing project equity from stabilized sites through financing and pulling it back to the parent while they keep owning and operating. No talk of site sales on the call.

- Lease revenue of $5.8M looks light (was expecting $8-14M) but should get clarity around when that actually turned on and started generating revenue intra quarter
- Not much incremental in the press release other than that they acquired a 70MW site in Texas (Horizon) with energization expected in 2029, still have 270MW of capacity available in 2027 that they are advancing tenant discussions with
- Cash balance (unrestricted + restricted) dropped ~$1.7B to $2.9B q/q, while debt remains ~$5.5B. This doesn't include the October covert which should boost cash by ~$800M.

Massive news in my country.
The Council of State has adviced the government to not pursue the unrealized gains tax on self-custody #Bitcoin, #Crypto and commodities.
They state that everyone should be taxed the same and there shouldn't be a difference between the way you're holding the underlying asset.
The cabinet needs to get back together on finding a new solution for the missing tax income.
