Not really. My concern is the impact on women. Hypothetically, let's say the rape prosecution is really low and men are emboldened to rape whenever like a caveman. Why would you reduce barriers of opportunity to incentive it? Wouldn't you want the opposite? To deter it?

You're comparing apples to oranges. Selective Service isn't just "temporary." Refusing to register can permanently bar men from certain federal jobs and benefits. And when drafts actually happen, the consequences aren't temporary for the men sent to war.
