We need decentralized money just like we need decentralized A.I.
Crypto and AI are intertwined.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

1. The BC conservative party has a lot of former BC liberal members in it. It's far more left-leaning than federal conservatives.
2. Eby lost because he didn't want a fair fight, and he has garbage policies. Not because cons are good.
I'm glad the cons won.
Look how far ahead #TRON is when it comes to stablecoin volume.
It is not even close.
This is mental. Youth unemployment is at 13% in Canada.
Canadian companies seem to be refusing to train youth and will just replace them with immigrants.

Today, my counsel appeared in California federal court to oppose World Liberty Financial's @worldlibertyfi efforts to force our dispute into secret arbitration proceedings and seal documents from public view.Β
We argued forcefully that this case belongs in open courtβand the Court agreed with us.
In a major victory, the judge ruled that all of my individual claims will remain in open court.Β
The judge also rejected World Libertyβs argument that all of the company-related claims should be arbitrated, and has ordered the parties to meet and confer about which of those claims should remain in court and which should go to arbitration.Β
This is a significant win.Β
World Liberty tried to push this case behind closed doors, and the Court said no.
Token holders deserve to see how projects treat the people who trust them.Β I believe that World Liberty would not be fighting this hard to hide their actions if those actions were defensible, and I will not rest until the community gets the transparency it deserves.
For those of you who are new to this dispute, I was one of World Libertyβs earliest and largest investors.Β I invested $45Β million in World Liberty in return for $WLFI tokens because I believed the projectβs claims about bringing decentralized finance to the public.
But as alleged in my Complaint against World Liberty, after my $45 million investment helped turn their struggling token sale into a $550Β million raise, World Liberty secretly embedded a backdoor into the $WLFI smart contract that gave themselves unilateral power to freeze, restrict, and burn any holderβs tokens without notice or due process.
The Complaint further alleges that World Liberty used that power against me to illegally seize my property (specifically, my $WLFI tokens), and then threatened me with criminal referrals when I tried to exercise my legal rights.Β My lawsuit seeks hundreds of millions of dollars in damages.
After initiating this litigation, I promptly obtained a court order prohibiting World Liberty from burning, destroying, reallocating, or otherwise permanently disposing of any of my tokens.Β
That order was necessary because, as I allege in my Complaint, World Liberty had both threatened to destroy my tokens and ensured it had the unilateral power to carry out that threat.
I now understand that World Liberty has implemented the same backdoor capabilities in its USD1 stablecoin.Β In my view, USD1 users should understand that World Liberty has given itself the technical ability to freeze or destroy their assets at any timeβand that, as I allege in my Complaint, they have already shown a willingness to use those functions against $WLFI holders.
I am not the only victim of the fraudulent scheme by World Liberty alleged in my Complaint.Β While it is not my place to share other peopleβs stories without their consent, others have come forward to me privately to say that they too believe they were victimized by World Liberty, but they are concerned about coming forward publicly to file suit.
I understand their concerns.Β
As alleged in my Complaint, World Liberty has shown that they will retaliate against those who challenge them.
I also want to give investors a word of caution based on my own experience with bad actors in this industry.Β Before this dispute, I was defrauded by ARIA, which ran off with approximately $500Β million in collateral backing the TUSD stablecoin.
While ARIA was insolvent and sitting on hundreds of millions in misappropriated funds, its agent Vincent Chok was simultaneously launching a new stablecoin called FDUSD through his company First Digital Trust.
That stablecoin ultimately collapsed in confidence, de-pegged, and saw its trading pairs stripped from the Binance exchange.Β
That experience taught me to look more carefully at the projects I invest in, and it is one of the reasons I now have serious concerns about World Liberty.
In my opinion, there is serious reason to be cautious about both $WLFI and USD1.
My claim against World Liberty is for hundreds of millions of dollars, and I have seen no evidence to suggest that they have the resources to satisfy a judgment of that magnitude.
The market capitalization of USD1 is reportedly $4Β billion, but that is user money.Β
It is collateral that is supposed to back the stablecoins and cannot be used to pay a court judgment.Β
Aside from that collateral, I have seen no indication that World Liberty has sufficient capital to cover a judgment for hundreds of millions of dollars.
And that is just my claim.Β As noted, I understand that others could bring similar lawsuits.
Beyond those potential claims, World Libertyβs conduct gives me even more reason to question whether they can stand behind their obligations.
According to public reports, World Liberty deposited approximately fiveΒ billion of its own $WLFI tokens as collateral on Dolomite, a lending platform co-founded by World Libertyβs own Chief Technology Officer.Β That reportedly amounts to nearly half its treasury and roughly 5% of the total token supply.
Through that arrangement, World Liberty reportedly borrowed at least $75Β million in stablecoins, including its own USD1.Β As noted in my Complaint, industry analysts have drawn direct comparisons between this circular borrowing and the kind of leverage that brought down SBFβs massive fraud at FTX.
There is also the matter of World Libertyβs leadership.Β As I allege in my Complaint, World Liberty co-founder Chase Herro previously founded another DeFi protocol called Dough Finance, which claimed to have been the victim of a hack in which user assets were stolen.
But an investor filed a lawsuit alleging that no hack actually occurred and that Mr. Herro personally liquidated the platformβs assets into his own wallet.Β
According to public reporting, the vast majority of those funds remain missing to this day.Β As public reporting has documented, many of the same individuals who were involved in Dough Finance are now running World Liberty.
All of these thingsβmy massive damages claim, the claims of others who have not yet sued, the Dolomite borrowing, and the Dough Finance litigationβraise serious questions in my mind about whether World Liberty and USD1 has enough money to satisfy a judgment, repay their debts, or make investors whole if there is a run on the bank.
I believe investors should ask whether World Liberty and USD1 has sufficient resources to meet all of its potential obligations.Β
Based on the publicly available information I have reviewed, I am not confident they do.Β
I urge investors to do their own diligence and proceed with extreme caution.
I can't believe people willing got scammed into TRUMP and Melania tokens.
Crypto really has some interesting people.
Capitulation indicator?
Bitcoin isn't a ponzi, its a loss in the faith of the US dollar and government.
Lets be honest, if Canadians can't even afford at construction cost studio condos.
The math is cooked and
Canadians are cooked.
You'll never own a home and "ivory tower" politicians can't relate to what truly is "affordability".
"I don't think we've done, myself included, a particularly good job of rolling this out and explaining exactly what it is," says PM Carney when asked whether developers pushed for federal-B.C. plan to convert unsold condos in the province into affordable housing units.

PM Carney on plan to convert unsold B.C. condos into affordable units
"No developer asked for this directly".
"The BC government intiated this idea." π€
Maybe Eby's government was asked.
1.45 billion / 2200 = $659,090 per condo.
Should dog crate Condo's really be worth this much?
Does anyone just remember going to the store and picking up the only version of a game?
No in app purchases. Earned achievements.
Now we got features locked until you buy the premium version of a game.
GTA 6 will be a success but it is enshitification of gaming.
We have an affordable housing crisis and the canadian government, is using tax payer $$ to buy private developer condos.
There is no risk when government just bails out investors.
How do companies learn?

Canada's "exit tax" is a deemed disposition that triggers tax on unrealized capital gains, along with a re-basing of the asset values. USA does the same thing.
Without this deemed disposition, there'd be a mile-wide tax loophole of changing your residency to re-base tax-free.
Canada's priorities are so messed up.
For all the things Canada regulates, it can't even regulate against legal gambling or even drugs.
Big yikes to the financial integrity of "investing"
Can't wait for the future of insider trading.

Ackkkktuallyy⦠Europe lost the world's biggest stablecoin. Not the other way around.
MiCA's July 1 deadline is thinning the herd. Tether (USDT) chose not to pursue MiCA. They never applied, whereas Circle and others are leaning in.
Tether has been public about this since 2024 (he is also talking his book here, needs fact checking):
- The 60% bank-deposit rule for major stablecoins chains a global asset to EU banking fragility. Ardoino warned EU banks could "go belly up" under these rules.
- The concern being a stablecoin de-peg and a bank deposit run hitting at once.
- 400M+ users, mostly emerging markets hedging inflation. Europe is not a core market for Tether.
- Called MiCA "very dangerous" for stablecoins, and said the ECB is "more interested in pushing the digital euro as a way to control people and control how they spend their money."
Also, ECB's Christine Lagarde says βStablecoins are not an efficient way to strengthen the international role of the euro.β π€¦ββοΈnitter.cf/ecb/status/20526449514β¦
Meanwhile, the US seeks to extend the utility of the USD and create increased demand for Treasuries. With GENIUS in law, and hopefully CLARITY advancing with developer protections π€it will be interesting to watch these dynamics play out in the market.
πͺπΊ THE WORLD'S BIGGEST STABLECOIN JUST LOST AN ENTIRE CONTINET.
$USDT is out on every licensed EU exchange.
Binance. Coinbase. Kraken. Crypto. com. All removed it.
Tether refused to comply. Circle did.
$175 billion in USDT, locked out of regulated Europe.
$USDC walks into the gap.
Regulation just chose the rails.
Did I call the crypto crash? π
We aren't at capitulation yet. We are in Hope/Fear.
I still feel like we have some pain left in #Bitcoin before we reach an upside.
Give it maybe 4 more months, and I'll think we will make it to a good buy area long-term.
Regardless if you buy now, then its still good.
Everyone right now is using 3x leverage AI etfs and pivoting from crypto.
We have the US debt issue, bonds raising interest rates, housing unaffordable, Oil going sky high, inflation running, markets at all time highs.
Is it all going to implode?
Canada doesn't enforce its laws and literally has slave labor in the form of the LMIA and IMP programs.
You expect it to figure out the illegal Iranian OTC brokers. π
Literally every disapora seems to be scamming Canada right now.
Replying to @USTreasury
You should sanction all of the sketchy Iranian OTC brokers in Canada being abused by illicit actors.

Remember when Chrystia Freeland said we were in a vibecession 2 years ago.
That was the indicator that Canada has been in a recession for much longer than this recent "technical recession."
We only propped up our fake GDP numbers with immigration.
