Cosmonauts ⚛️ Tomorrow, I’m sitting down with Jae Kwon, the inventor of Tendermint and co-founder of @Cosmos. The first time we went on air was April 2022, when @_gnoland was still a testnet. Today it has a live mainnet and 3.2M ATOM wallets in its airdrop. What we’ll cover: ▫️ From Tendermint to Gno.land ▫️ The end goal for Gno.land and gno.world ▫️ Why fork ATOM, and where the Cosmos Hub stands today ▫️ Is Jae building the new Cosmos? ▫️ What ATOM holders should actually do on Gno.land ▫️ Quantum and privacy What would you ask Jae? Drop your questions below and the best ones make it into the interview.

Do you still believe in the project? Is there still a team? Liquidity? Anyone out there? If not, it might be time to move into something with better odds.

See you in HK! 🇭🇰
We are pleased to welcome Justin Sun, Founder of TRON to the Hong Kong Digital Asset Summit. Justin’s work as TRON’s founder spans the blockchain networks underpinning digital asset activity. The summit will explore how digital asset services operate in practice, bringing financial institutions, public-sector participants and blockchain infrastructure providers into the same conversation. Payments, settlement, market access and operational requirements are central to that discussion. The interview with @jaekwon is dropping tomorrow. We spoke about a lot. From inventing Tendermint to launching Cosmos and founding Gnoland. From all the lessons learned of operating in this industry to the institutionalization of it. It's been a very deep, insightful conversation!

On $GNOT: if you think Jae Kwon will pull off something special, hold it. He was one of the minds behind proof of stake over a decade ago. If not, you can sell monthly as it unlocks.

After Akash, I keep coming back to one question. Which Cosmos chains really need their own chain, and which ones are just paying for it? Curious which ones you'd put on each side.

$AKT What Akash gives up by moving to Solana, according to its own proposal: ▫️ Its own consensus and validator set. ▫️ Validator income on its own chain. ▫️ Native IBC, so links to Cosmos go through third-party bridges. ▫️ Live slashing, which Solana hasn't switched on yet. What it gets: no chain to run, and network fees of about 0.075 SOL a day for the whole marketplace.

One week until @CosmoverseHQ in Hong Kong, November 4 to 6 at the Grand Hyatt. On stage are Hong Kong's government, the SFC and the BIS Innovation Hub, next to BlackRock, HSBC, Standard Chartered and UBS. If you're in Hong Kong that week, let me know.

Record turnout and overwhelming support from $AKT community for moving Akash to Solana mintscan.io/akash/proposals/…
$AKT Five days left in the Akash vote on moving to Solana. About 98% of votes are yes so far. Around 64% of all staked AKT has already voted, so this isn't a small group deciding. The vote closes on November 2.

Do not just check your airdrops. Check your staking rewards too. Some chains paid 50 to 60% for months. That can quietly add up to a few hundred dollars you forgot about.

Infrastructure is not the game anymore. Revenue is. Who generates it, how much, and is it growing? That is the whole question in 2026.

Akash looked at seven options and ended up with two finalists: Solana and an Ethereum L2. Solana won on cost, with fees for the whole marketplace at about 0.075 SOL a day. Which one would you have picked?

If you hold AKT, here's what the Solana move means: ▫️ Nothing changes until the vote closes on November 2. ▫️ If it passes, AKT launches on Solana about 2 to 3 weeks later. ▫️ You get 2 years to move your AKT over, 1:1 and one way only. ▫️ Staked AKT can move in one step, after the 21-day unbonding. ▫️ AKT on Osmosis has to go back to Akash's own chain first. ▫️ Staking rewards end at the final switch.

Akash leaving Cosmos is a big loss for the ecosystem. It's one of the few Cosmos projects with a product people actually pay for. Their reason is simple: running your own chain costs a lot, and they weren't using what it gives them. I think every Cosmos team running its own chain will now get asked the same question.

$AKT Akash is voting on leaving Cosmos for Solana. So far about 98% of votes are yes, and the vote closes on November 2. If it passes, AKT becomes a Solana token about 2 to 3 weeks later. The marketplace itself only moves after another vote, so nothing changes for users yet.

$NEAR As of October 22, Bitwise's NEAR ETF held about 17.6M NEAR, worth roughly $83M. That's about the same amount of NEAR as the week before, so the drop in value came from the price, not from investors pulling out. All of it is staked, earning about 3.3% a year after fees. I don't hold NEAR. Stakecito runs NEAR infrastructure.

Nine days until @CosmoverseHQ in Hong Kong. On stage this year are Hong Kong's government, the SFC and the BIS Innovation Hub, next to BlackRock, HSBC, Standard Chartered and UBS. I'm already in Asia for it. If you're around November 4 to 6, let me know.

If you still hold stATOM or stTIA from Stride, mark November 20. That's roughly when you can swap them back on Osmosis at a fixed rate. Until then there's nothing to do, but they don't earn rewards anymore.
