What do you think of this warning to stockpile non perishable food? Just in case of a cyber attack, war or extreme weather conditions?
Are the government panicking people unnecessarily or better just to be prepared in case?

Really stormy again here. The sun's out though and no rain. But maybe these storms are going to be common place during the winters now due to climate change and the summers getting wetter but warmer.
The stupidity of some people in Blackpool.
🟠NEW: Storm Boelo knocks people OFF THEIR FEET as ferocious winds and driving rain lash Blackpool.
#StormBoelo
Watching videos from Blackpool where people are so stupid they are walking on the prom and some pushing a pram and with little children. Debris is falling big style from buildings as so many buildings there are in a bad way. Don't they realise they could be killed walking in that
Strong winds of 80 mph still going on here. Usually overnight and in the morning in the past they have usually died down but not this morning. It's dry and the sun has been trying to come out.
Been blowing an absolute hooley all evening and there hasn't been a let up at all. Rain been lashing down too. I think it will have caused a lot of structural damage and trees falling.
I went into town and spent a while in Waterstones looking at rows of books. I saw some really good ones. But after I came out I wished that it was the old days and I could go into one of the great little tearooms we used to have for a cup of tea in a proper cup and a cake.
Have been feeling off since Saturday. I think it's been my stomach. Made me dizzy too. Not been very hungry either.
So I asked the oh when he was going to Asda if he could bring me some plain digestive biscuits.
I don't feel very much like giggling at the moment though.🤢
Really really cold this morning. It's time to get the winter coat back on and probably the hat, scarf and gloves.
This was taken after my old house was empty in November 2025, We had moved out and came back to see if there was anything we left behind. But there was a shadow that puzzled me on the door. I couldn't account for it, How I still miss my old house nearly a year latter.
I take my hat off to the manager and his Poundstretcher store up in Lochee in Dundee. Halloween stuff and Christmas stuff out but they have swapped the store around quite a bit and cleared a big space has been made to keep the gardening stuff. 🏆 #poundstretcherlochee
I find with the lead up to Christmas day and the day itself overpowering. I'm not a material kind of gal so do struggle with all the consumerism that goes on with this time of the year. Everywhere you turn and its been like that for months now you get Xmas rammed down your throat
OH just came in to tell me about the bus he came back which was busy. Four old guys took up four double seats each with their walkers folded up and high viz jackets with "Old lives Matter." 😧
I can't imagine my dad or both grandads or uncle wearing something like that.🙄
