𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒃-4 𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒆 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒄𝒂𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒊𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒂. Manufacturers aren't making cars exactly how they want anymore. They are making cars around tax rules. 3,995mm? Great. 4,010mm? Suddenly higher tax. 1,199cc engine? Fine. 1,201cc? Different treatment. So instead of engineers asking "how can we make this car better?", they have to ask "bhai isko 4 metre ke andar kaise ghusaye?" 😭 Short overhangs, compromised proportions, weird designs, smaller engines... all because of taxation. Tax cars based on price, emissions, efficiency etc. But taxing a car differently because it's a few mm longer or has 1cc more displacement is just stupid. Indian cars should be designed by engineers, not by tax slabs.
