Walking into Toys “R” Us and heading straight for the video game aisle was one of the best feelings as a kid.
Game Boy Color, PlayStation, Nintendo… you could spend forever just staring at the shelves deciding what you’d get if you somehow had unlimited money.
And here’s something I never thought we’d be saying again: Toys “R” Us is opening a lot more stores.
The company just announced plans to open 120 new standalone U.S. locations for the 2026 holiday season, bringing its standalone U.S. total to 160.
Maybe a whole new generation is about to find out what it was like to be a Toys “R” Us kid.
There really was nothing quite like this place.

Super Diverse cast of Characters of different races and genders
Multiple Gay, Trans, Lesbian and Queer Characters IT HAS AN ENTIRE DLC DEDICATED TO A GAY WEDDING (it's peak btw)
Has made fun of politics multiple times
Super colorful game and has "bisexual lighting" everywhere which is appaerently a thing now lol
Borderlands is one of the most inclusive game series out there but alot of people don't realize or care because it's popular but by the defenition people have of "WOKE" things Borderlands is on top lmfao
