Interesting to see Electric Capital articulate this so clearly.
In practice, most systems still force a tradeoff.
Public chains give access but no privacy,
private systems give privacy but no shared trust.
The next generation has to offer all three: control, privacy, and access, simultaneously.
At @CubaneSpace , we’re building toward this exact direction: a hybrid public–private compute layer where multiple parties can collaborate on shared state, verify outcomes, and still keep sensitive data private.

I recently submitted our application to the @0xKickstarter Ventures Kickstarter program, and the process itself gave me a lot to reflect on.
This wasn’t a “pitch deck upload” kind of application.
It forced me to slow down and answer harder questions:
Why does this problem really matter?
What did we learn from building too early with ChatBuck?
Where does privacy break down in real-world SaaS and institutional systems?
And why does Cubane need to exist now, not later?
What I appreciated most was that the application didn’t reward hype or buzzwords.
It pushed for clarity about failures, timing, technical trade-offs, and long-term vision.
Filling it out felt less like applying to an accelerator
and more like stress-testing our own conviction.
Regardless of the outcome, the exercise itself was valuable.
As a founder, I genuinely believe writing these answers, even privately, helps sharpen your thinking.
