This is so powerful. A little window onto real Russia, real Russians, away from the propaganda, the hate and the war. Thanks @BBCSteveR
Once again, at a time of instability am so grateful for the brilliant @bbc. So important to have a reliable, expert, credible, fact-checking news source in these challenging times. Well done Team #Ukrainecast for a quick, clear update - responsive as always.

Proud to be a Friend of @VicTheatre, such a fantastic venue that welcomes the whole community - from going to panto and performing there as a child in my Halifax Theatre Youth days, to amazing Kasabian gigs & comedy nights as an adult, it is a gem of a place with an ace team ❤
It's #NationalVolunteersWeek and we would love to say thank you to the Friends of the Victoria Theatre.
Pictured here are just four of the group who volunteer their time to help the theatre to thrive and improve.

My Queen, Muriel Spark, in a fabulous headscarf in Haworth, talking about Emily Brontë and all the Big Themes. Delightful 💕
#OnThisDay 1961: Novelist and self-confessed graveyard fan Muriel Spark explores the cemetery at Emily Brontë's home in Howarth. "Life, death and eternity. These are Emily's great themes."
BBC Bookstand: Muriel Spark at the Brontë home, 1961
Surrounded by the tombs and gravestones of Howarth cemetery from her early years until death - Muriel Spark wonders how Emily Brontë's writing was influenced by the dead.
Celebrating #AnneLister's birthday here in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire & sending love to all those saluting her life today in my Yorkshire hometown 🎩🎂🎈 She showed me that global adventure was an option for Halifax lasses - thank you Anne for being a trailblazing inspiration!
The only person talented and funny enough to get away with a spoof of my beloved #HappyValley is @KieranCHodgson. Love it.

So am just remembering Sarah Lancashire's succinct quote from the BBC press release announcing #HappyValley 3. Am really, really hoping Catherine's the dog and Tommy Lee Royce is the rabbit. (He'll never be 'Tommy' to me...)

👇Get your guesses in now for how you think #HappyValley will end. We will pick one person from any correct guesses to win an overnight stay and dinner - win a break at the hotel used for filming and where the stars stayed! #filmlocation #hotels #calderdale #caldervalley
Hi @VicTheatre, I beg you to host an evening of conversation between @LisaMMcGee and @spiceyw. Exceptional writers, exceptional people, with a shared love of feisty women, dry humour and day-to-day resilience. #HappyValley + #DerryGirls = peak TV joy.

Absolutely brilliant - culture at the heart of the tourism offer. And well done Team #FilmCalderdale, making a huge contribution to the local economy, to pride of place and to the region's profile with your can-do, helpful & friendly approach. So lovely to hear, congratulations⭐
We were on R4 You & Yours this lunchtime talking about (of course) Happy Valley and 'ebden. Starts 22 mins in. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001hp…
Genuinely bewildered by the fact that we're all meant to just carry on with our normal lives while we're waiting for next Sunday and the last episode of the masterpiece that is #HappyValley. It baffles me. There should be public holidays and compulsory group discussions.
Happy 100th birthday @BBC!!! ⭐🎉 My lifelong first choice for fun, for education, for news. My companion and solace during lockdown. Regenerator of Calderdale through quality local TV production. Unrivalled global soft power asset. You are precious. Here's to the next 100 ❤
The BBC was founded 100 years ago today.
Happy birthday to us! #BBC100 🎉🎂
