Imagine explaining to someone unfamiliar with the Yookay that the state more or less invented a pseudo-generation of random brown people that it pretends single-handedly rebuilt Britain after WWII because the British were incapable of fixing 3-4 bombed cities.

This type of thing is where all the intellectual alpha is btw. Especially if you are trying to punch above your IQ or conscientiousness class in impact. The only way to get to the top of a well worn path is to be smarter, harder working, and luckier than all your competitors. And even then you will almost certainly fail due to Pareto making their accumulated knowledge and influence compound on itself such that they accelerate faster the faster they go. If however you are lazy and retarded like me, your only option is to move laterally instead of vertically: to look where no one else is looking and dig through the low status stuff to find the hidden alpha that everyone overlooked precisely because it was buried in the trash. If the smart, hard working, high status people looked there, they would do in a year what will take you a decade or more. But because they refuse to look there, you can fumble along foolishly with no competition for a very long time. Most of the things you find will not be particularly useful (eg race realism) but rarely you will find a gem (eg buying Bitcoin in 2013). And you only need a like 1% hit rate to propel yourself into a pretty comfy place. The main risks here are: 1) other lazy retarded creatives will be a little less lazy and retarded than you and find the alpha first. Which is why you must do your best to cultivate your discipline even if you'll never be particularly good at it. And... 2) that you will uncover something without fully extracting it or putting your name to it such that you do a lot of the work but someone else gets all of the credit. Which is why you need to be creating durable content/products and putting them in the public domain even when they suck and you're embarrassed by them and then constantly improving them in real time. Being unwilling to share anything until its perfect makes perfecting it slower and almost guarantees someone else gets to it before you do.
I’ve thought about this idea quite a bit. And i do suspect it is understated how much dysfunction in nons, particularly blacks, is a product of losing all connection to their history and culture when they were brought to the west. You only need to look at how whites have unraveled psychologically as we have dismantled our history in recent decades to see how important this is to psychological wellness. Im sure genetics likely plays a larger role overall in non dysfunction but “systemic racism” or “generational trauma” is almost certainly less. The race realists dont mention this prob bc its hard to measure and lower impact than genes thus not worth trying, and libtards dont mention this bc its counter to their virtues of immigration maxxing and shedding the bondage of history. But I suspect it is a larger variable than the discourse suggests precisely because no side has much incentive to bring it up.

Every IVF kid alive today was already picked over their siblings based on how the embryo looked under a microscope. I am not aware of anyone getting depressed about that.

I’m not at all shy about blaming DEI where appropriate, and it often is appropriate. But I see no DEI angle on this jet crash. The female pilot was not flying the plane. The captain was a 55 year old man. Trying to blame the girl for the crash is absurd and baseless. Yes she seemed frantic and terrified in the radio call but I would be to, and so would you. And even if she’d been cool as a cucumber, there isn’t the slightest reason to think it would have made any difference at all. I’ll fully admit that I wouldn’t get in a plane if the copilot was a 20 year old girl. But that doesn’t change the fact that there is no evidence that she was personally at fault. And for the record, becoming a pilot at 20 is pretty impressive. She had her shit together a lot more than I did at that age. I’ll say that at least. I don’t think airlines or private charter companies should be making any specific effort at all to be “inclusive” of women or whatever, but it’s still admirable for a kid to have a goal like that and pursue it. I don’t see any reason to mock her, as some have done. Some of the comments about that audio recording have been callous to an unhuman degree. None of you would have the stoicism in that situation that you demand from this girl. And again, there’s no reason to think stoicism would have magically kept the plane from falling out of the sky. Besides, she actually did seem pretty calm in that recording until the last few seconds, relative to the circumstance she was in. I don’t want my pilot to panic but I also don’t want them to be completely indifferent to the prospect of a fatal crash, as some commenters here apparently expect.

If there was a single turning point for the Star Wars mythos, one solitary event which signaled its permanent & irreversible decline, it wasn't anything that Disney did. It was Knights of the Old Republic 3 being canceled & replaced by a spinoff MMO that nobody asked for.

KOTOR is great, even though I don't consider it trve SW. The Old Republic online game doesn't get enough hate and completely fucks up and rapes the entire Legends timeline. The LARP around that game during 19-22 WAS INSUFFERABLY INSANE.
The first one was fun. Lots of familiar elements, a galaxy spanning conflict, cool lightsabers and force powers, new alien worlds to explore, funny robots. It had one of the best twists in games. It felt both original and like a classic star wars story. A very solid game. The second one was about cosmic horrors too terrible and great to imagine. All of the usual heroes are dead or useless. The evil isn’t visible. There’s no massive fleets or super weapons, just a radiating sickness slowly draining the life from the universe. It transcends the Star Wars franchise and is possibly the best RPG ever made.

It's been completely memoryholed because people moved on to Andor and the Legends books. But there was absolutely a period 6 years ago were tumblrites discovered TOR and you wouldn't hear the end of it, mostly because it allowed you to play as a dark side Jedi.

Don't look up what what Frank Herbert believed on socialism, ancestral continuation through breeding, and his gay son.
Dune is generally more mature than Star Wars and requires a bit more intelligence and literacy to understand than Star Wars. Something the right lacks
