A lot of people liked my 2016-era "here's how an expert sets up Windows" guides on decentsecurity.com. Working on a refresh featuring @CyberCakeX's enterprise Windows security tools made accessible to home users. My second install after ShutUp10. But both need customization.

Why? wermgr.exe is hardcoded to load a non-existent DLL in System32 folder, so we create a 0-byte file in it as Admin so the vulnerability Fails to run unelevated
Microsoft has failed to properly patch RoguePlanet (CVE-2026-50656), ShieldBreak, a PoC that demonstrates a full bypass to the previous patch is now public.

I found a novel technique to detect VMs by reading UEFI Firmware variables, haven't seen this used before. VMs show modified data with clear indicators when you read DB/DBX/KEK/PK. Wrote my findings in repo wiki here and added to my app
