Hurricane Isaias is beating the odds! Should be declared a major storm by the NHC in their next update.
Hurricane Isaias is just 1 mph short of being a Cat 3 hurricane. This animated gif image shows the external forces affecting the track of this tropical cyclone. The NHC still expects it to achieve Category 3 status, but weaken at landfall.
This is a surprising storm. It's been battling windshear for well over 24-hours and somehow not only manage to survive, but strengthen.
The NHC has it hitting Pensacola, my hometown.
When the 174 year-old South Bushwick Reformed Church, a Christian church, burned down in New York City in June 2026, I stayed on top of the investigation into the fire and the final outcome of rebuilding efforts.
The facts are in and SURPRISE...no surprise!
A lunatic black guy, John Jones (24) is in federal custody and charged with burning the church down. He had a notebook with violent entries and his alleged statement that he tried to burn a second Brooklyn church.
Ahmed Tigani, (a Muslim) is the current Commissioner of the NYC Department of Buildings, appointed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani in January 2026, forced the church to pay for its own demolition and has ruled that the church will not be allowed to be rebuilt.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS...
My hometown of Pensacola is one of the areas under the gun from tropical cyclone Isaias.
@rasta850 (Doug Morrison, my best friend) has a home within a block of a big body of water there. He hasn't called me, which means he's probably very busy at the house preparing for landfall.
You know how they say that if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life?
I worked every fucking day.
The visuals from Starship 14 during its insertion burn to orbit are absolutely beautiful! WTG @SpaceX!
Catch of the booster is scheduled for the next test flight...#15.
Still...way way too cool!
@SpaceX Starship 14
My schedule has been cleared out for the rest of the week, allowing me to work on my action-adventure novel entitled "Chasers". Grok has really helped me with the cover design.
Here is the synopsis: People have been disappearing within the inner eyewall of major hurricanes since the dawn of history. Two teams of storm chasers get caught up in the mystery, and discover a reality they had no idea existed.
The book will be available in hardcover (for those that like holding a book) and as an e-book FREE to download and read.
I will retain all rights to the novel, to include movie and other associated rights. Yes, I'd love to be able to sell the movie rights and see this plot get made into a motion picture. Please God...
This is my last chance in life to score. I've worked hard at times on this novel and created a very unique plot. I deserve a win.
I've discovered a very interesting program. It's entitled "Special Forces Worlds Toughest Test".
It features some very interesting people competing to get through this hellscape.
Oliver Hudson, Goldie Hawn's son, is in it...but the most interesting character, hands down, in S05E01 - Jungle Warfare is none other than the infamous George Santos.
Hahahahaha!
I took these photos on January 31, 1982 at 2am CST. It is the Barrancas National Cemetery located on the Naval Air Station at Pensacola, FL. It has over 50,000 interments and covers an area of over 94 acres.
Happy Halloween!
I am currently hanging out in Ecuador with my two dogs. They are both big boys and when they go outside, they play hard in what could be called a "sport". I created a highlight reel of them going for it.
In my opinion, this is what a "dog fight" should look like and I'm very happy my two compete in this manner.
What is life like when living on Social Security that you paid into for 45 years?
It's that time of the month again, when after paying the rent and utilities bills and buying a month's supply of medicine and other perishables (like TP), the liquid capital in your bank account becomes meager and you start considering your Ramen noodle supply to make sure you can get through to the end of the month without going completely hungry.

At this point in "divine history" there is an argument that God no longer judges us, because the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has redeemed us in the eyes of God.
The connection we lost from the original sin of Adam and Eve no longer binds us to death, but the caveat is that you, as a sinner, have to accept the gift of redemption and forgiveness.
When you honestly repent of your sin and ask for God to guide you in this life, you'll get a visit from the Holy Spirt; which acts as a personal two-way connection right to God. That's when things can begin to get really crazy, as God's will for you might come off as very surprising. The interaction could involve tests of your faith, your morals, your steadfastness under duress, etc. Or you could be moved to do something unlikely for you as a person, and get surprised by the end result. It's actually a lot of fun to let God guide you through life as if you were a child.
On the other side of things is rejecting God's mercy and forgiveness. You do this by not forgiving others who sin against you, by hating others, by hurting others intentionally. Doing stuff like this continues a separation from God that He never intended to happen and does not want, because His love for each of us is immeasurable.
So, my opinion is that what we do with our free will judges us. Either we are in concert with God at a personal level by choice, or we reject Him entirely by choice.
