🚧TEMPORARY WORKS AT LARNAKA AIRPORT
As part of the ongoing Phase II development works at Larnaka Airport, demolition of the staircase connecting the Arrivals Meeters and Greeters Areas with the Departures Level will begin on Wednesday 7 October.
The demolition is expected to take a few days, with new escalators to be installed in its place, as part of the upgrade.
During this time, we will make every effort to minimize disruption and inconvenience.

The “With a Golden Ribbon” exhibition is now on display at Larnaka Airport.
Hosted by Hermes Airports in collaboration with the Pancyprian Association of Parents and Friends of the Paediatric Oncology Unit and the Mikroi Iroes Foundation, the exhibition features artwork created by children of the Paediatric Oncology Unit, sharing powerful messages and their unique perspectives on the world, inspiring millions of travellers, from Cyprus and abroad.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Monday, 21 September, in the presence of the Minister of Health.

Η Υπουργός Μεταφορών Εύη Τσολάκη, ανέφερε ότι το αεροσκάφος δεν πρόκειται να απογειωθεί αν δεν ελεγχθεί εξονυχιστικά. «Ο κόσμος να μην ανησυχεί. Έχει τεθεί σε εφαρμογή το σχέδιο κρίσεων. Υπάρχουν πρωτόκολλα και διαδικασίες και αξιολογείται η απειλή».
Σημείωσε ότι αν διαπιστωθεί ότι δεν συντρέχει κίνδυνος, τότε το αεροπλάνο θα απογειωθεί.

New Year-Round Routes
@cyairways is expanding its network from Larnaka Airport with two new year-round routes to Rome and Munich, launching in December 2026.
Also, from 28 October, an additional weekly flight to Heraklion will also operate every Wednesday.
