از دیدار دوباره با دیوید مک‌آلیستر، رئیس کمیسیون امور خارجه پارلمان اروپا، خرسند شدم. از تعهد عمیق او به ملت ایران و حمایت‌اش از آزادی و دموکراسی قدردانی می‌کنم. در این دیدار، درباره مجموعه‌ای از اقدامات عملی اتحادیه اروپا، از تشدید تحریم‌ها تا حمایت از دسترسی ایرانیان به اینترنت، گفت‌وگو کردیم. دیوید، دوست واقعی ملت ایران و آرمان آزادی‌خواهانه ماست.

My dear compatriots, I have come to Brussels today to bring your message and your demands directly to Europe’s leaders, lawmakers, and public, the voice of a nation that has stood courageously and steadfastly against the Islamic Republic’s repression and violence, and has refused to surrender to this criminal regime. In its latest disinformation campaign, the Islamic Republic attempted to prevent you from joining the “Barkhiz Iran” Telegram bot by spreading false information. That effort also failed. Within a short time of its launch, we received hundreds of thousands of messages through the bot from across the country, from students, teachers, and doctors to workers, soldiers, police officers, and people from every walk of life. We launched this initiative to establish direct, two-way communication with you. The extraordinary response carries a clear message: the will of the Iranian nation cannot be broken. Our nation, in all its diversity, seeks liberation from the Islamic Republic, and is fighting and making sacrifices to achieve it. The Iranian people do not fear this regime. On the contrary, it is the Islamic Republic that fears the power of a united Iranian nation. It is the regime’s missing leader who is hiding from the people, too afraid even to make his voice heard. You, my proud compatriots, have once again demonstrated that, contrary to the regime’s propaganda, you are neither exhausted nor hopeless. Your belief in victory is stronger than ever. It was a pleasure to meet with Belgian Interior Minister, Bernard Quintin. @BernardQuintin_ and I discussed the Islamic Republic’s increasing threat to Belgian security and attempts to undermine its democracy. I urged Belgium to lead the fight to counter the regime in the European Union.

از دیدار با برنارد کوئنتین، وزیر کشور بلژیک، خرسند شدم. من و @BernardQuintin_ درباره تهدید فزاینده جمهوری اسلامی علیه امنیت بلژیک و تلاش‌های این رژیم برای تضعیف دموکراسی در این کشور گفت‌وگو کردیم. درخواست من از بلژیک این است که پیشگام مقابله با جمهوری اسلامی در اتحادیه اروپا باشد.
