Nice to know in the age of physicality and needing things now, 2 of the last 3 Ballon d’Or winners got dropped from a youth academy and as men can barely break 32km/h sprinting.

If Lamine Yamal wins the Ballon d’Or today he will become the youngest to win it by TWO YEARS.
As it stands, Ronaldo remains the youngest ever winner, aged 21.

🇦🇷🔻Marcelo Bielsa: "I am sure that football is in a process of decline."
"It is becoming less and less attractive because what made it the best game in the world is not there anymore."
"If you let a lot of people watch football, but you don't protect the pleasure of what they watch, that favours business, because the business is that a lot of people watch football."
"For me, the introduction of technology (like VAR) does a lot of harm to football."
"This sport has a particularity: when it becomes completely predictable, it loses its appeal."
"As time passes, as fewer and fewer footballers are worth watching and as the game produced is less and less enjoyable, this artificial increase in the number of spectators will be interrupted."

🚨🐐 CRISTIANO RONALDO ON NEYMAR: “PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH TALENT THIS GUY HAS!” 🇵🇹🇧🇷
🗣️ CRISTIANO RONALDO:
“Neymar is one of the most talented players I have ever seen. People talk about the Ballon d’Or, Champions League trophies and individual records, but sometimes they forget what makes a footballer truly special.
“When Neymar has the ball at his feet, you never know what he is going to do next. He can dribble past three players, create a chance out of nothing and make something difficult look easy.
“I think people are sometimes too harsh on him because they expected him to achieve everything Messi and I achieved. But every player has his own journey, and you cannot judge someone's entire career by the trophies he didn't win.
“Football needs players like Neymar. Players who entertain, take risks and make millions of people fall in love with the game.
“His talent was never the question. If injuries had been kinder to him, we might be having a very different conversation today.
“NEVER CONFUSE A CAREER THAT DIDN'T MEET EXPECTATIONS WITH A PLAYER WHO LACKED GREATNESS.” 🇧🇷❤️🐐

🇧🇷🎙️ NEYMAR RESPONDS TO THOSE WHO CLAIM HE WASTED HIS TALENT! 😳🔥
🗣️ NEYMAR:
“People say I wasted my career because I didn't win five Ballon d'Or awards. But since when did football become only about individual trophies?
“Millions of children tried to copy my skills. Millions of fans wore my shirt, and millions fell in love with football because they enjoyed watching me play.
“You cannot measure that kind of impact with trophies or individual awards.
“Of course, I wanted to win more. I wanted more success, more unforgettable nights and more moments to celebrate with my teammates. I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
“But not achieving everything people expected of me doesn't mean I failed.
“I won major trophies, represented Brazil, played alongside some of the greatest footballers in history and gave fans moments they will never forget.
“Maybe my career didn't follow the path everyone imagined, but I lived my dream and entertained millions of people around the world.
“If inspiring children, bringing joy to fans and making people fall in love with football is what you call wasting talent…
THEN I'LL HAPPILY ACCEPT THAT CRITICISM.” 🇧🇷❤️🎙️.
