🧵 Our full statement on HB 12, the FMLA expansion bill, that passed out of the Illinois House this week. It now heads to the Senate for a vote.
HB 12 would expand coverage of the Family and Medical Leave Act to thousands of education support professionals across the state.
Even though the new CDC guidelines are not approved for schools in Illinois, yet. I imagine many of us feel this way, this morning. #HappyFriday #Strongertogether #Wegotthis
