Busy day. Early morning interim study @oksenate then lunch with the Moore Chamber of Commerce and the State of Schools presentation, the day ended with dinner with the District Attorneys and a recognition of multiple pieces of legislation I carried for them last session.
Today I had the honor of giving some opening remarks at the Association of Oklahoma Narcotics Enforcers’ summer conference. It was nice to see a lot of old friends in person again.
Brianna Cole was 9 months old when her step-father bent her back in half, severing her spine and killing her. Benjamin Cole is white but because Brianna was an Indian, his conviction was overturned today. Let that sink in.
