Twenty years ago, former Vice President @algore went on the TODAY show to announce a new project that would become our organization, The Climate Reality Project, with a mission to train people of all ages and backgrounds to share the truth of the climate crisis and how we solve it. At this year’s #ClimateWeekNYC, he sat down with @alroker for a conversation about how that project has grown into @ClimateReality's network of 4.5 million people around the world driving action. He reflected on the progress we’ve made, our continued need to overcome the influence of the fossil fuel industry and political forces slowing climate solutions, the growing promise of renewable energy, and the people around the world continuing to push for real change. The conversation was a reminder of the work that must continue – building the political will, collective action, and momentum necessary to accelerate the clean energy transition and create a better future for people and our planet.
