Trump’s immigration policies are hurting our health care system and putting immigrant communities at risk. This week in New York, I joined local unions, leaders, and advocates to demand that the administration fund health care—not ICE raids in our communities—restore TPS for countries facing danger and instability, and support the American Dream and Promise Act to create a pathway to citizenship. We will keep fighting against cruel health care cuts, standing with immigrant communities, and pushing for the comprehensive immigration reform our country needs.

NYC's first-in-the-nation Office of Healthcare Accountability released a new report showing how hospital consolidation drives up healthcare costs for working New Yorkers. DC 37 fought hard for the creation of this office, and we thank @SpeakerMenin for fighting alongside us!

OHA’s report makes it clear that NYS must act now to stop rising healthcare costs. That's why DC 37, @32BJSEIU, and @C4AH_NY support the Fair Pricing Act in Albany to make sure everyday New Yorkers pay routine prices for routine services, no matter where you receive care.
