Many people believe VAST SILVER caused the original “glitch” or was used as the basis for Nemesis. That's possible. I'm suggesting another possibility: the knowledge gained from its development, along with that gained from CYAN, contributed to the creation of the Swarm's AI.
Bottom line: greed
As of now, the cause of the “glitch” remains unconfirmed. It seems we'll have to wait until the next game to finally find out what Elisabet knew about it. 🏹
